How to get to Xiqiao Mountain? Tourism route strategy

Xiqiao Mountain is a scenic spot worth visiting. Many friends from other places don't know this place, but they still speak highly of it. This small series will tell you about the travel strategy of Xiqiao Mountain.

How to get to Xiqiao Mountain?

Xiqiao Mountain is located in the southwest of Nanhai City, Guangdong Province, between Guangzhou, Foshan, Shunde, Jiangmen and Gaoming. It is only 45 kilometers north of Guangzhou, and it can be reached within one hour by car.

Introduction of Xiqiao Mountain Tourist Routes

Xiqiao Mountain, located in Xiqiao Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, is also known as the four famous mountains in Guangdong with Danxia Mountain, Luofu Mountain and Dinghushan. Xiqiao Mountain is the ninth mountain in my travel plan.

I came to Xiqiao Mountain from Wuzhishan, Hainan. I got off at Foshan Railway Station and lived nearby.

There is a bus stop next to the hotel, called Chengbei Logistics Center. Take bus 138 to Liri Haoting, and then take bus 1 to get off at Xiqiao Mountain Climbing Road. This is the north gate of Xiqiao Mountain.

After reading a lot of raiders, everyone suggested that it is better to walk from the north gate to Xiqiao Mountain.

Recommended route:

Baofeng Temple Nanhai Guanyin Tianhu Park Peach Blossom Garden, Tea Garden Rock, Mushroom Stone Jiulong Rock Cuizhugou, Sifang Bamboo Garden North Gate.

I visited all the scenic spots except Baiyudong and Huang Feihong Wushu Museum. The scenic spots in Xiqiao Mountain are a little far away. I took sightseeing bus to the scenic spot and then walked.

After exchanging tickets in the visitor center, take sightseeing bus to visit Baofeng Temple and Guanyin in Nanhai.

Nanhai Guanyin bronze statue

It is connected with Baofeng Temple, the Guanyin scenic spot in the South China Sea, and the whole temple in Baofeng Temple is built on the mountain. Go up along Baofeng Temple, and Nanhai Guanyin Wenhua Garden is at the top of the mountain.

Nanhai Guanyin Wenhua Garden is located on Daxian Peak in the middle of Xiqiao Mountain, and the highest point is Nanhai Guanyin bronze statue. Someone came here early in the morning to pray.

After coming down from the mountain for almost an hour, I went to Tianhu Park by bus, where there is a big lake formed by an old crater.

There is a winding stone bridge on the lake. The trees on the shore are lush and the scenery is very pleasant. You can go down the mountain through Tianhu Park to Baiyun Cave. I thought it was the way down the mountain, so I gave up my plan to go to Baiyun Cave.

I went to Taohuayuan by bus. After getting off the bus, I saw the road sign. Tea garden and square bamboo garden are in this direction.

With the arrival of the flower season, only a few peach trees can be seen.

This reminds me of a person who once shook a peach tree and let the petals scatter on me, which made me lucky.

I bought some food and water, had a rest and passed a tea tree, but I didn't see camellia. The road sign in front shows the peach variety exhibition garden, passing through a peach forest, and a lotus pond appears in front of you.

Xia Lian has not blossomed yet. Seeing the lotus pond reminds me of this poem: only when the small lotus blooms is the beautiful scenery again.

Taohuayuan lotus pond

Along the lotus pond, I came to the main road, walked to the gate, left the Peach Blossom Garden, and prepared to visit the Huang Feihong Lion Art Martial Arts School in the south gate. I went to Sifang Bamboo Station by bus, and several trains arrived. I thought it was a chartered tour, so I never got on the bus.

Later, I learned that these cars were all going to sightseeing bus at the south gate.

It is also here that I learned a sentence: Don't ask the driver in sightseeing bus where he is going. Just tell the driver which scenic spot you want to go to, and he will guide you to the corresponding sightseeing bus, because the scenic spots in Xiqiao Mountain are scattered and you need to transfer to different sightseeing bus.

I missed the bus to the south gate, and took sightseeing bus back to Taohuayuan to Shiyan. When changing trains at Cuiyun Station, the driver reminded me that Shiyan theme scenic spot had been closed because of falling rocks. If I go there, I can only visit the surrounding scenery.

Feng Shiping

Shi Yanyan was actually a quarry in the Ming Dynasty. Although the inner scenic spot is closed, the surrounding shiping wind and the natural scenery outside are my favorite types.

After the visit, follow the signs to Mushroom Stone and Jiulong Rock. Mushroom stone is a big rock that collapses on the mountain. After weathering and rain erosion, it forms a wide top and a sharp bottom, hanging down all around like a mushroom.

While enjoying the natural scenery in the distance, I set out for Jiulong Rock, and suddenly a lush green appeared in front of me. I didn't know this was Cuizhugou until I saw the sign. Zhan Ruoshui, a master of Neo-Confucianism in the Ming Dynasty, gave lectures here. Although it is a modern decoration, the atmosphere here is really quiet. No wonder the host chose to write a book and make a statement here.

Cuizhugou

There are two lakes above, named Shuangchi Cui Yong, where fish swim leisurely.

Continue uphill and you will arrive at Fangzhumen. Go to the station and take a bus to the north gate to get ready to leave.

In fact, I was surprised that I took the route from Shiyan to Sifang Bamboo, which made my trip to Xiqiao Mountain more complete.

Sometimes inadvertently, you will miss some interesting scenery. Sometimes, on the road, you will find your favorite scenery.
