Wu Wang Mausoleum is the highest-ranking Han tomb excavated by archaeology in Hunan Province over the years until 1993. It provides a basis for studying the society, politics, economy and culture of Changsha in the early Western Han Dynasty, and also provides a place for tourists to witness the history. It is the main park for studying Chinese culture in Changsha. The park belongs to the provincial key cultural relics protection unit, and the tombs of Wang Wurui's family in Changsha in the Western Han Dynasty are well-known. Therefore, when the park was first built, it was named Wangling Park, which was renamed as Wangyue Park on August 18, 1993.
park features:
the park consists of seven functional areas: entrance scenic area, Tongpen Lake landscape, sunshine lawn, core area of Chinese culture, cultural relics protection area, body building area and dining area, with different scenic spots. There are three mountains in the park: Elephant Trunk Mountain, Lion Mountain and Fan Mountain. The landscape is beautiful and picturesque. In spring, there is a new scene of green trees and red flowers, and thousands of green willows reflect green water. In summer and autumn, the golden osmanthus fragrance is full of red leaves, and in winter, the snow is covered with branches, so tourists are reluctant to leave here.
The tomb of the King of Wu in the park is at the top of Elephant Trunk Mountain, and there is a stone ladder road not far from the right side of the stone tablet, which can climb up the stairs. Go to Bafa Zhangshu and you will reach the tomb site of the King of Wu. Standing on a high place, you can see the bustling landscape of Changsha, the nearsighted tomb and the copper basin lake, and you can see the infinite landscape.
