On June 25th, Dragon Lens was invited to arrive in Lijiang, Yunnan, to participate in the national media test drive meeting of "Mach Power does not believe in the limit-Dongfeng Shen Feng Yi Xuan MAX Extreme Challenge Tour". This is my second visit to Lijiang, and my last visit to Lijiang dates back to 2008, leaving many wonderful memories. After more than ten years, although all aspects have changed, the beautiful scenery and fine weather of Lijiang remain unchanged.

The first time I saw Yi Xuan MAX, I saw it in the picture of the test drive manual. Maybe it has something to do with the relaxed mood. The first reaction is that this car is "passionate".

I'm really not disappointed to see a real car. Yi Xuan MAX adopts storm design aesthetics with streamline speed, and its overall modeling is passionate and dynamic. The "sonic boom digital grille" was inspired by the fierce momentum of fighter planes when they broke through the sound barrier. The air guides on both sides of the "wing" help steering flow and reduce wind resistance. The ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.27 can be achieved by combining the coupe proportion digitally designed by Yi Xuan MAX.

The side of Yi Xuan MAX car body is designed with double waistlines and "carved curve of wind blade", with sharp edges and smooth lines, which enhances the three-dimensional sense of the side. The back line is designed with a slip back, which reflects the coupe style of sports fan. 17 inch "Blast Tomahawk Rim" and Fengshen track logo further enhance the sense of movement.

Yi Xuan MAX is based on DSMA architecture, with a length of 4797mm, a width of 1870mm, a height of 1475mm and a wheelbase of 2770mm. 1870mm is the widest body in its class, with an ultra-low aspect ratio of 0.788, which brings low control with the shape of the back and tail.

On the tail, Yi Xuan MAX has a square overall shape, which is decorated in a straight line and looks more stereoscopic. Taillight adopts the popular penetrating taillight, and there are two parallel LED strip inside.

Entering the car, Yi Xuan MAX's double-embracing cockpit and upper and lower decorative strips design connect the instrument panel with the left and right door panels into a whole, forming a double-embracing visual effect with a wide field of vision. The compound three-dimensional floating instrument platform further expands the space for riding and using.

The center console is designed at the driver's C position in the driver's seat 9.8, which conforms to the best ergonomic design and is more convenient for the driver to read the information on the screen.

There are many function keys on the central control screen. It can be seen that there is a hidden air conditioning outlet between the big screen and the air conditioning control panel, which has the function of intelligent air sweeping. The air conditioning panel above the air conditioning outlet can be controlled by hand. Of course, it is relatively more convenient to use intelligent voice system for control. There are also many function keys under the big screen, such as seat heating and power system mode selection.

Intelligent technology is another highlight of Yi Xuan MAX, which is equipped with automatic driving assistance system and integrates 28 sub-functions. Through five ultra-high definition cameras, five millimeter-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic radar, the system ensures that there is no dead angle monitoring in 360 degrees from 0 to 200 meters, and provides multi-dimensional safe driving assistance under the driving conditions of vehicles moving forward, crossing intersections, changing lanes, high-speed driving and parking.

The starting point of the test drive is Lang Hotel, which passes through a snowy mountain art town developed by an entertainment star and goes straight to Shangri-La. This is a test drive route carefully prepared by Dongfeng Shen Feng, including high-altitude roads, mountain roads, continuous bends, highways and other complex road conditions.

At the beginning of the test drive, the four "fat people" in the car add up to at least 600 Jin. In addition, Yunnan is located in the plateau, with high mountains and dangerous roads, which is a big test for the Mach power of Yi Xuan MAX. As the name implies, Mach is the unit of sound speed, and Mach power is the power system launched by Dongfeng Company in the field of autonomous passenger cars, and won the title of "Top Ten Engines in China" in 2020.

In fact, from the data point of view, the dynamic parameters of Hyun MAX are really not worrying. Mach power 1.5T engine, maximum power 150kW, maximum torque 320n·m, matched with 7-speed dual clutch gearbox.

Let's go, shift into D gear, lightly step on the accelerator and start soft. City roads followed the motorcade in turn. Although you can feel the good quietness of the vehicle, you can't give full play to the performance of Mach power. When entering the expressway section, the vehicle speed is faster and the upshift is positive. During this period, when taxiing in the D gear at a speed of 80km/h, the top gear of the 7th gear can still be maintained, which improves the fuel economy during driving. When accelerating sharply, step on the accelerator deeply, and the gearbox responds quickly, and can continuously shift down two gears to ensure that the torque output is strong enough. Especially in the 4th and 5th gear, the backup power is sufficient, which makes the acceleration very linear.

Plateau and mountain road are undoubtedly the biggest test of vehicle performance, especially in the case of almost full load. Overtake the local train on the mountain road, so that the Mach power 1.5T engine of Hyun MAX can show its strength. During driving, you can not only use sport mode to keep the power output at a high level, but also switch the gear lever to manual mode (M range), and then use the (+,-) shift paddles on the steering wheel to force a downshift or take the initiative to upshift, making driving more fun.

In addition, Yi Xuan MAX's front McPherson rear multi-link four-wheel independent suspension design can make the vehicle get enough support when driving in corners. This is due to the suspension optimization and professional adjustment of the track champion team. In addition, the rear suspension has high vibration filtering efficiency on bumpy road sections, which further improves the comfort of rear riding.

In exploring the most mysterious journey from Lijiang to Shangri-La, through the extremely high, steep, extremely curved and beautiful "four-pole" test drive experience, Yi Xuan MAX has excellent performance in both power performance and quietness, especially in the mountain road control in the plateau area.

Yi Xuan MAX based on DSMA architecture is a pioneering work of Dongfeng Shen Feng. Although it was a test drive, the performance was good enough. Whether it is an intelligent vehicle system or power control, it makes people shine, especially the extreme driving on complex sections such as mountain roads and high altitudes, so that the Mach power strength of Zhixuan MAX can be fully demonstrated.
