What country is Mandalay
Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar, is located in the inland of south-central Myanmar. It is a place where several ancient dynasties once established their capitals (such as Bagan City and Awa City), and it is also a city where a large number of overseas Chinese gather. Mandalay is listed as a United Nations World Cultural Heritage, and there are many historical sites to see. The Irrawaddy River flows from the west of the city, and the city streets are horizontal and vertical, with numbers as street names.
Mandalay, the capital of mandalay province, the famous old capital and the second largest city in Myanmar, is one of the political, economic and cultural centers of Myanmar, so it is named because it is backed by Mount Mandalay. Mandalay's Pali name is "Rotona rabbit inserted into the capital", which means "a city with many treasures". It was the new capital built by Yong Ya Dynasty in 1857 (named after King Mingdong in 1857), so the capital is located in the suburb of the present city. Most of the buildings were destroyed in World War II, leaving only the ancient imperial city and towers.
