According to the Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Smoking Control adopted at the 15th meeting of the 14th Beijing Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, smoking is prohibited in public places, indoor areas of workplaces and vehicles. Smoking in places and areas where smoking is prohibited can be fined up to 200 yuan.

The regulations clearly stipulate that smoking is completely prohibited indoors, tobacco advertising, promotion and sponsorship are prohibited, and the restrictions on those responsible for tobacco control are strengthened. At the same time, the regulations stipulate that outdoor public places such as cultural protection units, schools, maternal and child hospitals, stadiums and gymnasiums should also be banned.

According to the regulations, the legal person or principal responsible person of each unit will be the first responsible person for implementing the regulations of this unit. Operators and managers of restaurants and other business places are the first responsible persons for tobacco control in this place. Operators and managers of no-smoking places not only need to set up obvious no-smoking signs and report complaints, but also need to discourage smokers. If you don't listen to dissuasion, you need to complain to the administrative department of health and family planning.
