"Everyone was very enthusiastic when they learned that they were going to fly in the Grand Canyon. This is a very rare opportunity."

However, when it comes to paragliding, enthusiasm cannot be the only thing. Flying ability is also very important.

Flying at high altitudes is more difficult and demanding than flying on plains. For this flight, they set off at seven or eight in the morning, carrying dozens of kilograms of equipment and climbed to a mountain on the other side of the Grand Canyon. Although the climbing height was only more than 900 meters, it took Muzi and their team three or four hours. This requires them to have enough physical strength. This alone is enough to get a glimpse of plateau gliding, which is not an easy task.

Compared to this purely physical requirement, the difficulty of flying in the Grand Canyon is considered a challenge. Muzi told everyone that the air on the plateau is thinner, the umbrella pressure is small, the airflow is stronger, the umbrella speed is faster, and the technical requirements for the pilot are higher.

The 26-year-old Feiniao has eight years of flying experience and is so obsessed with gliding that he once delivered food in the wind and rain just to buy a set of gliding equipment.
