Lushan Mountain is a national eco-tourism demonstration county with rich tourism resources and numerous scenic spots. There are 2378 tourism resources, involving 8 categories, 29 subcategories and 133 basic types, accounting for 56.6% of the total tourism resources in Pingdingshan City and 6% of the total tourism resources in the province, with relatively concentrated distribution and high grade. It has successively invested and developed six scenic spots, including Shiren, Zhaopinghu, Foquan Temple, Thrushcross Valley, Shibaduo and Six yangshan, with more than 300 scenic spots, and developed 22 farmhouse tourism service areas. There are 3 travel agencies, 22 tour guides and 37 lecturers. There are 7 designated hotels for tourism management 17, including 3 two-star hotels (Lushan Hotel, Shirenshan Tian Li Hotel and Sunshine Building Hotel). It has formed a unique tourism pattern of "one mountain, one water and three lines" (one mountain refers to Shiren Mountain Scenic Area, one water refers to Zhaopinghu Scenic Area, the third line refers to the military and cultural tourism line with aviation exhibition hall and Secret Cave Villa as the main line, the folk tourism line with the theme of Foquan Temple, manjusri temple and farmhouse folk tourism, and the hot spring bathing tourism line with Shangtang, Tang Zhong and Xiatang as the core).

At present, Lushan tourism led by Stone Man has become a bright pearl in the Central Plains and an important tourist hotline in the whole province and even the whole country. The tourism market has expanded to 25 provinces, cities and regions in China, receiving more than 1 10,000 tourists annually, with direct income exceeding 50 million yuan and total income of 250 million yuan, which has achieved good economic and social benefits. Shiren Scenic Area has been successively rated as "Top Ten Scenic Spots", "Top Ten Tourist Destinations" and "The Most Beautiful Place in Henan" in the whole province. In 2002, Shiren Mountain Scenic Spot was approved as a national key scenic spot by the State Council, Zhaopinghu Scenic Spot was approved as a national water conservancy scenic spot by the Ministry of Water Resources, and Lushan County was awarded the title of "China Old District Tourism Resources Development County"; In 2003, it was approved as a 4A-level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.
