The four of us spent a week traveling around Changsha, Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Ancient City. Here, we recorded some experiences and lessons from the trip and shared them with all travelers, hoping to help them. First, the tour order of Zhangjiajie, Fenghuang and Changsha

Since all the tickets bought this time are for Changsha, we have made the route arrangement of Changsha-Zhangjiajie-Fenghuang-Changsha. According to the experience of this trip, I personally recommend that you go to Zhangjiajie first and then to Phoenix, because Zhangjiajie needs to climb mountains, which is quite tiring, and you can have a rest in Phoenix, and then you won't feel tired whether you take a train, fly or drive. Changsha can be placed before it or behind it.

Second, Changsha City

Accommodation in Changsha is relatively cheap, especially for a group of tourists from Beijing. There are many hotel chains. In addition to the well-known 7 days, Hanting and Home Inn, there are many hotel chains whose main locations are in Hunan, and the prices are of course more economical. We stayed in Hanting and Greentree Inn for two nights, and the price was 100 yuan/day. After checking out, we can leave our luggage at the front desk for free.

Here is a way to book a hotel. If you don't have a membership card with more points and discounts, you can register members of various hotel chains online, and then look for hotels with preferential activities. Generally speaking, with the increasingly fierce competition of hotel chains, such preferential activities come one after another, and you can basically find bargains at any time, provided that you get their official website, and the welfare is reserved for those who are prepared. For example, we booked Hanting's Sunday room for 100 yuan and Greentree Inn's special room for 99.8 yuan online in advance. However, this special offer must be booked online and paid through online banking.

Hanting Huangxing Road Store is next to huang xing road pedestrian street, only tens of meters away from Huangxing Statue. You can stroll on the pedestrian street at night and find many beautiful women.

(1) Hunan Provincial Museum (recommended)

Although we have been trying to make an appointment or even queue up at the scene, we still failed to visit. This shows the popularity. Perhaps the biggest reason is that a thousand-year-old female corpse was unearthed in Mawangdui. Even though some people have never been interested in museums, they have to go in and look at female bodies before they can stop.

Provincial Expo can receive up to 5000 people every day, so you have to use your ID card. One ID card can only book one ticket. If there are a large number of people, you can make an appointment by phone as a social group. There is also a phone number on the official website.

(2) Juzizhou

First of all, for tourists with limited time, Orange Island is definitely not suitable for hiking, because the road ratio is long and the park area is relatively large. Therefore, it is recommended to take a sightseeing electric car. The fare is 20 yuan/person, and you can take it 5 times in the scenic spot, but you can only take it 1 time at each stop. I thought it was expensive at first, but then I couldn't walk, so I took it. It turns out that the fare is reasonable. There are two kinds of sightseeing bus in the scenic spot, one is the battery car we usually see, and the other is the distinctive small train. We are lucky that a ticket for the first 20 yuan can take any kind of sightseeing bus. The train just came when we were waiting in front of the queue, so we sat in the first row of the first carriage. The train left by a MM, hehe.

Sitting on the sightseeing bus, watching the Xiangjiang River go north, and feeling the lofty aspirations of Changsha, the first Qinyuan Spring.

(3) Yuelu Mountain (famous)

As a northerner, I think it's like a park, except that there are many tombs of revolutionary martyrs, so it's famous. There is also a very famous Yuelu Academy, so it's also a must-see spot for traveling to Changsha. Free visit to Yuelu Mountain, Yuelu Academy fee, 30 yuan/person.

(4) Hunan University, Central South University

Built on Yuelu Mountain, it has a unique advantage. On the east side of Yuelu Mountain, there is also the once famous degenerate street of Huda, and now you can still see handsome cakes. As a man, I mean handsome guys are really handsome.

(5) Hunan First Normal University

Located on the east bank of Xiangjiang River, it is famous for being Grandpa Mao's alma mater, but it has to be admitted that its campus is also beautiful.

Next to He Long Gymnasium. It is characterized by being built on the roof and nothing else. Tickets are 50 and students are 30. Ferris wheel is generally recommended to sit at night. In addition to the night view of the city, the Ferris wheel itself is also a beautiful scenery. But the advantage of daytime is that you can see the whole city.

(7) Hunan Satellite TV

Presumably, many young people who come to Changsha, especially girls, have the idea of going to Hunan Satellite TV. Sometimes you can buy tickets, and sometimes you can get places through students from local universities. Close contact with stars.

(8) Window of the World, Underwater World and Golden Eagle International Convention and Exhibition Center are optional. I'm not interested anyway.

(9) Taiping Ancient Street and huang xing road pedestrian street

Both places are on the east bank of Xiangjiang River, near Hunan First Normal University. Taiping Ancient Street is the style of Nanluoguxiang in Beijing. There is a former residence of Jia Yi, which is free to visit, and nothing else.

Huang xing road pedestrian street is a famous pedestrian street, but it is no different from the pedestrian streets in many cities in China. However, a large number of fashionable and beautiful Hunan women must be unique in China.

Eat something

There are many snacks in Changsha, so there are many beautiful women. The most famous snack should be stinky tofu. Although stinky tofu is sold all over the country, the taste of Changsha is really unusual. In addition, there are delicious shrimp, delicious crab, delicious snake, pickled pepper, sister jiaozi, glutinous rice balls, pearl steamed dumplings, wrinkled wonton, Yang Yuxing pasta, An Deyu steamed buns, rice noodles and so on. As for the taste, there are different opinions, so we have to wait for the diners to taste it themselves.

Third, Changsha to Zhangjiajie

About the choice of cars and trains

The bus takes a short time, so you don't have to queue up at the train station in advance, which is efficient, but the bus usually leaves during the day, so you will waste four or five hours on the bus during the day.

The train time is a little longer, but you can choose to stay up late, buy a sleeper and sleep at the station. For tourists who are short of time, choosing the train at night can greatly improve the travel efficiency. However, the train ticket can't be bargained, and the hard sleeper fare ranges from 95 to 183, which is a bit uneconomical.

There are buses to Zhangjiajie at both the railway station and the west bus station, both of which take the Chang-Zhang Expressway, and the fares are somewhat different, but the main reason is that the buses are different in luxury and departure time. If you buy it at the official ticket office of the railway station, 104 yuan/person. 70 yuan/person introduced by a self-help tour guide in Zhangjiajie. The bus we took was very comfortable, and there was a toilet on it. It took four and a half hours (plus stopover time) to reach Zhangjiajie Bus Terminal.

After arriving in Zhangjiajie city, you need to take a bus to Zhangjiajie scenic spot, usually a tourist bus, 10 yuan/person, which takes more than one hour and ten minutes. Basic Panshan Road, slow down and pay attention to safety.

Of course, if you invite a tour guide in advance, the tour guide will pick you up in Zhangjiajie city, which will be discussed in the next part of Zhangjiajie.

Fourth, Zhangjiajie Forest Park.

1, how to visit Zhangjiajie

Generally speaking, Zhangjiajie is famous for its mountains and has shown the world its peculiar landforms. Visitors who want to study geology must not miss it. They will learn a lot about geology in Zhangjiajie, as long as you look at it with your heart. But as a group of northerners who don't study geology, I feel that it only takes one day, at most two days, to visit Zhangjiajie, because it will cause aesthetic fatigue after a long time. The so-called essence attractions of travel agencies and self-help tour guides are actually developed by imagining the shape of mountain peaks, and all mountain tourist attractions in China are the same.

Let's talk about whether it's completely self-help or a tour guide. First of all, we are a self-help tour, so we exclude the tour group from the discussion. Then recommend a self-help tour guide, come and go freely, don't worry, don't shop, it's cheap. This time, I invited a four-person tour guide, and each person spent 450 yuan, including tickets for Zhangjiajie Scenic Area (student ticket 160, adult ticket 248, which is a two-day pass), meals (five meals for four people, two meals for two mornings, two vegetarian dishes and one soup), accommodation (two nights) and tour guide fees, which can be said to be very cost-effective, because it is difficult to find suitable accommodation in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area.

The accommodation guide will help you arrange it, but you can make your own decision. You can ask the guide to take you there according to your plan. If there is no plan, the tour guide will take you along the general route. It's up to you to decide which scenic spots you haven't seen, how long it will take, whether you take the cable car or climb the mountain. Moreover, this kind of self-help tour guide also has a tour guide certificate, and will explain it to you when you arrive at the scenic spot, which is no different from the big tour guide of the tour group.

Tour guides can also be invited according to the number of days, generally 50 per day. I'll take you wherever you want to go.

Since a self-guided tour guide is invited, the strategy is of little significance, so you can let go of it.

If the tour guide is not required to help himself completely, a lot of preparatory work should be done in the early stage, including the tour route, where to stay and where to eat, and arrange the time to prevent getting lost in the dark. Because ordinary people can't accurately predict their own play time, it is recommended to invite self-help tour guides. I put a small advertisement here to recommend our tour guide itinerary. If you want to find him, just search Zhangjiajie Phoenix Donkey Club on Baidu. We call him Brother Cheng, a very responsible tour guide. His home is in the scenic spot, and he has his own inn. The location is very good. In Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, he basically stays at home.

Basic route of Zhangjiajie for 3 days and 2 nights:

Zhangjiajie Forest Park, Jin Bianxi, Yuanjiajie, Yang Jiajie, Tianzi Mountain and Shili Gallery.

Day 1: Huangshizhai, Jin Bianxi.

The next day: Yang Jiajie, Daguan Platform, Yuanjiajie, One Step to Heaven, Xianren Bridge.

Morning: Visit Yang Jiajie Scenic Area, the most beautiful places in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area (Tianbofu, Dengtian, Air Corridor, Three Deaths Robbery, Yangmen Niangniang, Echo Wall, Lover's Peak, Wuzhishan, Tianbofu, Wulang Buddha Worship and other scenic spots). Wulongzhai, the most famous bandit lair in western Hunan, is named after its mountain danger, and it looks like an oolong entrenched in the mountains at night. The scenery in Yang Jiajie, like Zhangjiajie, is mainly original scenery and natural beauty. Compared with Zhangjiajie, Tianzi Mountain and Suoxiyu, it has its own unique features, unlike Zhangjiajie, but also better than Zhangjiajie, except that the geology and landform are basically the same as some peaks. Afternoon: Visit the Daguan Platform Scenic Area (Tian Zi Block, Xianren Bridge, Shenji Grab, One Step Difficult) and overlook the panoramic view of Shili Gallery; The number of Ren Xian Bridges in Daguan Platform Scenic Area is the most amazing! Day 3: Tian Zi, Dianjiangtai, Shentangwan and Shili Gallery.

Morning: Visit Tian Zi Scenic Area (Xiansanhua, Yubi Peak, Tianzi Pavilion, Yunqingyan, Shentang Bay, Dianjiangtai and other scenic spots), He Long Park, one of the top ten marshals-the bronze statue of He Long, and then visit the following scenic spots. . Back in Zhangjiajie, you can also visit the towering Tianmen Mountain and the Tianmen Cave, the soul of Wuling, by car on sunny days.

The temperature in the scenic spot is five or six degrees lower than that in the urban area, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is large. Even if you travel in summer, you should pay attention to the temperature change. Pay more attention to keep warm in other seasons, bring a cold suit and an umbrella.

Accommodation in scenic spots is generally a farmer's family hotel, and the conditions are not worse than those in urban areas. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries. If you don't bring them, you will have to pay them.

The scenic spots are relatively large, and most of them are mountain roads. You must wear comfortable shoes and take as little luggage as possible. It will be more painful to carry big bags and small bags on the mountain road. Thanks to our stone guide, he helped us with our luggage on the way this time.

This is for gay men, especially those who are not lovers. In Zhangjiajie Scenic Area, you may meet many Miao girls who are beautifully dressed and ask to take a photo with you, and they are quite enthusiastic. They usually grab your arm directly. At this time, you should pay attention. This photo is charged. How much is each girl? The photo fee is extra. So, if you don't want to take pictures, just go and don't stay.

5. Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang Ancient City

About the choice of cars and trains

There is no expressway from Zhangjiajie to Fenghuang Ancient City, only a downhill Panshan Road. If you take a bus, you must go this way. The whole journey takes four and a half hours and goes directly to the scenic spot. Tickets are 60, you can buy them from local people, which can be cheaper. But it hurts a little to sit up, especially for carsick people, who brake sharply from time to time along the way, which makes people complain.

Therefore, people with carsickness can consider taking the train, but the train can only go to Jishou City, which takes about two hours by car, and the hard seat fare ranges from ten yuan. After arriving at Jishou Railway Station, it is recommended to take a taxi (5 yuan) to Jishou South Bus Station and take the air-conditioning line shuttle bus to Fenghuang, which runs every 20 minutes. The price is 15 yuan/person. Take National Highway 209, the road conditions are good, and people who are carsick and not carsick are very comfortable. It takes 70 minutes to get to Fenghuang North Station.

After arriving at the North Station of Fenghuang County, you need to take a bus to Nanhuamen to see the real ancient city. It only costs three or four yuan to take a taxi.

6. Fenghuang Ancient City

1, no need for a guide.

Although the tour guides in Zhangjiajie usually take over the tourism business of Phoenix, I personally suggest that you don't need a tour guide to travel to Phoenix. Unlike Zhangjiajie, Phoenix is not in the mountains, and the scenic spot is very large, so it is inconvenient to stay. Phoenix is so small and concentrated that it is very comfortable to play alone.

Fenghuang county is very small, so you don't need to take a bus. The taxi starts in 3 yuan, and the environmentally-friendly battery car 1 yuan/person.

The nearest railway station to Phoenix is Jishou Station in the north and Huaihua Station in the south.

The nearest airport to Fenghuang Ancient City is Daxing Airport in Tongren, Guizhou, 30 kilometers away from Fenghuang. There is a shuttle bus at the bus station, the travel time is 1.5 hours, and the fare is 20. You can also charter your own car.

Step 3 be alive

Phoenix Hotel recommends staying in Linjiang Inn on both sides of the Tuojiang River, and among the many hotels in Linjiang, it is best to stay next to Hongqiao and Jinshui Bridge, because these two places allow tourists to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Tuojiang River in their rooms, whether at night or during the day. Among Hongqiao and Jinshui Bridge, Jinshui Bridge is said to be cheaper, because there are many diaojiao buildings next to Hongqiao, which is of course expensive. So the most cost-effective accommodation is next to Jinshui Bridge. Of course, it would be great to live in a diaojiao building.

Satisfied accommodation needs to be booked in advance, because Phoenix travel is very popular and rooms are very tight in peak season. After confirming the itinerary, it is best to book directly by phone or through the website. Of course, if it is the off-season of tourism (from late autumn to the next spring), you can also go back to find accommodation, usually with a room. Moreover, the accommodation price of Phoenix is generally 70-80, ranging from 70 to 80. Rooms are usually wooden houses by the river. At least you can see the scenery of Tuojiang River from the windows, and some of them have balconies. Generally, there are computers with Internet access and wireless network coverage in the room.

Phoenix's accommodation does not provide disposable supplies, so you should bring toiletries.

And don't live near bars and commercial streets, it will be noisy in the morning or at night. At 6 o'clock in the morning, a tour group arrived in Phoenix, and I was lying in bed when I heard the tour guide explaining.

Finally, recommend a place. In an alley north of Tuojiang River, there is an inn called 13 14. Seeing his guest room, we feel very warm, suitable for couples to visit Phoenix, and of course on the river.

Step 4 travel

On the issue of ancient city vouchers

Personally, I don't think it is necessary to buy 168 yuan coupon tickets (including bonfire party) in Fenghuang Ancient City. Many scenic spots are not worth seeing.

Some scenic spots, such as Miao Village, Qiliangdong and Nanchang City, can be selected according to personal hobbies. But pay attention to a few money-saving skills:

(1) You don't need to buy a ticket to Miao Village at all, just take a taxi.

(2) You can find a local to help you buy tickets for the bonfire party, and then give him some hard work, which is 30 to 40 yuan.

(2) boating on the Tuojiang River

It is necessary to go boating on the Tuojiang River. Sitting in the middle of the boat, listening to the boatman telling an old story about the phoenix, or listening to the clear and tactful songs of ferrymen and Miao women, and occasionally taking a sip of Miao wine, is it a very pleasant thing that is hard to describe?

(3) About attracting customers

In Phoenix, there are many soliciting people pestering you. "Do you want to wear Miao costumes to take pictures? Do you want to take a boat? " The best way is to tell them "I have taken photos, but I have been there". Otherwise, I will follow you all the way, chat with you, recommend where to buy things cheaply, and stop and go. They will wait for you patiently and enthusiastically, but there is a purpose. When you are finally embarrassed, they will take the boat introduced by him, taste the wine of Miao family and stimulate consumption, but generally there will be no such thing. But wearing a tail all the way is always uncomfortable.

However, putting on Miao costumes and taking some photos with friends is invincible and cost-effective. There are many merchants along the river to provide photos of Miao costumes. You can negotiate the price with them. We pay 3 yuan for clothes for everyone, including Miao girls, Miao boys and bandits. As for the clothes like Emperor Gege, stop it, China is everywhere. Put on your clothes, and then you can take photos at will, or you can take photos with other handsome guys and beautiful women who come to travel. Of course, at this time, the merchant will take a lot of photos for you and teach you to pose. Finally, you can pick some photos from the merchant's camera and develop them as a souvenir. They range from 5 yuan to 10 yuan to 20 yuan. Generally speaking, they are relatively cheap. Of course, you don't need anything, just what's in your camera (traveling alone is a bit depressing). But after all, our card machine can't compare with other people's SLR. People have taken so many photos for you, and I'm too embarrassed to give you a costume fee and leave, so I chose a few.

(4) Other activities

Many characteristic shops in the ancient city, whether classical or fashionable, are absolutely suitable for leisurely strolling, so I don't want to leave after staying in Phoenix for a few days, and I always feel that I haven't visited enough.

Phoenix's bar is very famous. It is a pleasure to go to a bar for a drink, listen to some songs or even sing a few times in the evening. There is generally no minimum consumption, but it is very likely that everyone must have consumption.

The scenery in the ancient city in the morning is particularly beautiful, sparsely populated and the sun is not prosperous. The mist on the Tuojiang River is still like a fairyland. It's a pity that we didn't bother to go back to sleep after only one look on the balcony, and we didn't take this beautiful morning scene with our camera.

Generally speaking, the folk customs of Phoenix are quite simple, and the merchants are also very trustworthy and honest, so don't worry too much about being cheated.

Step 5 eat

I saw that the gentleman's restaurant diagonally opposite Phoenix County Hospital was very cheap, but after we tried it, we found that the price was no different from other shops in the ancient city, so as for the price, it was almost the same in the ancient city, and if four people ate it, it would be seventy or eighty.

Here, I would like to recommend a restaurant called "Yi Jiangnan" which is dozens of meters east of the East Gate Tower. After our actual investigation, we think that the food in this restaurant tastes the best in a few days in Phoenix. Whether it's Tuojiang's blood-soaked duck or fried shrimp, the most impressive thing is its home-cooked tofu, which is the best I have ever eaten. We ordered two. At the checkout, we calculated 76 and gave it to Zhang Hong. The proprietress took 25 directly and said she was looking for you 25.

There is also a fragrant tofu sold by an old man at the entrance of a small shop on the west side of the North Gate Tower, which tastes better than other stalls.

Phoenix's barbecue is also very spicy. The most authentic one should be the new road. It is said that this snack market is large in scale, delicious and cheap, but it's a pity that we didn't have time to try it.

There is a small walnut ball near Tuojiang Wharf. We also ate it in Zhangjiajie. It's delicious.

Phoenix's food also includes fungus and pickled fish (very delicious). As for some wild vegetables, I personally feel that the taste is very general.

Ginger sugar is delicious, as crisp as dragon beard meat.

Step 6 buy

(1) Miao Yin

There are many Miao silverware in the ancient city. Generally, the silverware in regular shops is real, and the price is relatively expensive. Sister Miao and Aunt Miao in the street sell them for decoration, and the price is cheap. You can bargain with them greatly.

(2) Ginger sugar

The ancient city is full of stores selling ginger candy, but it is not easy to choose the right one. According to the experience provided by professionals, first look at the pores of ginger sugar and choose different pore sizes; Then look at the color, brown sugar tastes better than white sugar, so buy dark yellow ginger sugar. The quality of a century-old shop is guaranteed, but the price must be better.

(3) Miao wine

The wine in Miao village is really good. You can bring some, especially kiwi fruit wine, which tastes good and is suitable for all ages.

As for good wine, you can buy bandit wine and sorghum wine. The entrance is soft, but it has enough stamina. The price is not expensive either.

There is also a bar wine, which is a specialty, but I have never tasted it. It seems that the price is 5 yuan a catty.

We also brought back some daughter red, which is delicious. It should be brewed from some plums, so it is reddish. The taste is a little weak, too.

(4) Xiangxi bacon

After reading it, I didn't like bacon, so I didn't taste it.

7. Others

Public toilets in Phoenix are all charged, 1 yuan/person.

It takes five and a half hours by bus to Changsha West Bus Station and six hours to Changsha Railway Station. The first hour is Panshan Highway, and you can't get on the expressway until you reach Jishou City.

But taking the bus is still a waste of time, so we sat in Changsha from noon 12: 30 until 7 pm, and there was still traffic jam on the road.

train

If you take the train, you should go to Jishou first. It is recommended to take a bus to Jishou South Bus Station and take the national highway, with good road conditions. 15 yuan/person, 70 minutes to Jishou. Then take the train. You can choose to stay up late, buy a sleeper, and arrive in Changsha after six in the morning. Hard sleeper fare 145 yuan.
