How many stars have emerged from Xiangshan?

The county has produced two stars.

They are Dong Kedi and Zhang Yaping respectively.

1. Dong Kedi, born on August 20, 1960 in Xiangshan, Zhejiang, is a national first-class actress in Zhejiang Xiaobaihua Yue Opera Troupe and graduated from Zhejiang Art School. He is a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association. Dong Kedi has won many honors, including the 17th Chinese Drama Plum Blossom Award, the 10th Shanghai Magnolia Drama Performance Award "Protagonist Award", etc.

2. Zhang Yaping, a second-level actor. A native of Xiangshan, Zhejiang, born in February 1941. She has been passionate about Yue Opera since she was a child. At the age of 16, she was admitted to the Xiangshan Yue Opera Troupe and studied under Yuan Xifang. Under the careful guidance of the teacher, he practiced hard and was meticulous in singing, acting, reading, and playing. He developed solid basic skills and became a leading member of the group in two years.
