Four-day tour in Chongqing

I remember reading the novel Red Rock for the first time when I was a child, and I had infinite yearning for that mountain city. But it was 30 years later that I finally set foot on a trip to Chongqing.

When the plane circled overhead, it saw patches of red soil and seemed to feel the humid air.

This trip to Chongqing, I have arranged for 4 days, as follows:

D 1: After staying in the hotel, we will visit Hongyadong, Chaotianmen, Jie Fangbei and other city attractions, mainly the night view of the city.

D2: Dazu Stone Carving

D3: Geleshan Martyrs Cemetery, ciqikou ancient town

D4: Chongqing Auditorium, Jialing River Cable Car and other city tours.

The following points are for friends who travel by themselves, hoping to help.

The passenger station of Chongqing Airport is at Shangqing Temple in the urban area, 15 yuan/person. Take a taxi from Shangqing Temple to Jie Fangbei and other places about 10. In fact, taking a taxi from the airport to downtown is about 40 yuan, plus 10 yuan Expressway.

It is recommended to stay in prosperous areas, such as near Hongyadong and Jie Fangbei, where transportation and dining are convenient. It is not recommended to be near Chaotianmen, which is mainly a land/river road transportation hub, which is rather chaotic.

It's convenient to take a bus around the city, and taking a taxi is also a good choice, which can save time, usually around 6-30 yuan.

Dazu mainly visited the stone carvings of Baoding Mountain and Beishan Mountain. Package 120 yuan, half price for people over 60. Buy tickets for 80 yuan in Baoding Mountain and 50 yuan in Beishan Mountain respectively.

It is not recommended to join any one-day tour. You can take a long-distance bus by yourself, and the traffic is very convenient.

Chen Jiaping coach station leaves at 6: 30 in the morning, and there is a train to Dazu at 30-40, with a round-trip ticket to 96 yuan. Jie Fangbei-Chen Jiaping takes a taxi about 22-25 yuan.

After arriving at Dazu coach station, take a taxi to 30 yuan, Baoding Mountain and go to Beishan 5- 10 yuan. Although the long-distance station connects the scenic spot with the bus, the stop/time is very chaotic, so I didn't find it.

If time is tight, I suggest going to Baoding Mountain.

Dazu stone carvings are still worth visiting, but it's best to rub more guides there, because most cultural attractions are three points to see and seven points to listen to.

Geleshan Martyrs Cemetery is located in Shapingba, just like the urban area under construction, which is a little far away. Bus 2 15/265 and get off at the Martyrs' Tomb.

A large Hongyan Soul Square was built in front of the Martyrs Cemetery, which was solemn and solemn, and the sculptures in the cemetery were very imposing.

Tickets for visiting 40 yuan are free after March 26th, but the daily invoice is limited to control the number of people.

The cemetery gate is about 3km away from Zhazi Cave, and Baigongguan/Songlinpo is basically in the middle, about 1km away from the gate. There are bus connections between scenic spots, and tickets are free. But it is inconvenient for friends who want to visit carefully.

Therefore, it is suggested to take a bus at the entrance of the scenic spot (it seems to be 2 10) and go directly to Zhazidong. After the visit, find the scenic spot bus, go to Baigong, and walk to the gate by yourself after the visit.

In fact, there are many scenic spots along the way, and statues of martyrs can be seen everywhere. If you go down the mountain from Zhazidong to the gate of the scenic spot, it is acceptable.

In fact, going to Geleshan Martyrs Cemetery is also very tiring, because most of the exhibitions are written and in kind, so you have to climb about 300 steps to get to Songlinpo and other scenic spots. Let's be mentally prepared.

Today, we are far from the era of bloodshed and sacrifice. Most young people born in 1980s may not have read Red Rock, but most of them know Jie Jiang, Xu Yunfeng, radish head and others.

But I believe that no matter how the society develops and progresses, the spirit of persistent pursuit of faith will not be erased in any era.

After visiting the Martyrs Cemetery, take a taxi from 5 yuan to ciqikou ancient town. In fact, I can only walk 1km, mainly because the visit cost me a lot of physical strength, and I really can't walk:)

Ciqikou ancient town, like all the ancient towns around Shanghai, is just located in the mountain city, and the buildings lack some Jiangnan flavor, which makes them look patchwork.

Street vendors are similar, but there are many teahouses, most of which are live performances. Generally, a song is 10 yuan. This scene echoes the ancient town and has a unique charm.

Finally, introduce the scenic spots in Chongqing.

Chaotianmen, Jie Fangbei and Hongyadong suggest going at nightfall, which is a night scene resort. If you have time, go again during the day. If there is fog, it can best reflect the true colors of Chongqing.

Facing Jialing River, Hongyadong is mainly a tourist place integrating catering, entertainment and shopping. Chongqing restaurant there: Little Swan is very famous, with authentic taste and low price. You can try it sometime.

There are two cable cars crossing the river: Jialing River Cable Car and Yangtze River Cable Car. The Yangtze River Cable Car is the best choice, which is more imposing than Jiangling Jiang Changjiang. The cable car in Crazy Stone should be the Yangtze River cable car.

The Great Hall of the People is close to Shangqing Temple, which was once the center of Chongqing people's gathering. Besides the meeting now, everyone may go to Jie Fangbei to have more fun.

The auditorium building is magnificent, just like the Tiantan in Beijing. In the 1950s and 1960s, it was remarkable to build such a building. In this way, Chongqing, which was not a municipality directly under the Central Government at that time, was still very rich in financial resources ~ ~

Opposite the auditorium is the Three Gorges Museum, which was closed on Monday, so it could not make it.

There are still many places in Chongqing that have no time to arrange. I will definitely revisit this mountain city next time I have the opportunity! Take a boat from the Three Gorges to Yichang.
