Sunwu Lake is located in the center of the eastern new district of Guangrao County. Chenghe Reservoir is 7.5 kilometers long from north to south, with a storage capacity of100000 cubic meters and a water surface area of 2.48 million square meters. Relying on the advantages of Sunwu Lake's natural water body, taking eco-tourism and Sunwu military culture as the theme, and planning according to the national AAAAA-level tourist attractions and national tourist resort standards, it has high-grade tourism and holiday functions. The construction of holiday resort is based on the development concepts of "big water surface, big space, big green space" and "people-oriented, hydrophilic and harmonious", with waterscape as the main body, integrating revetment, green belt, water surface and landscape, perfectly combining natural scenery with cultural experience, and creating a humanized and personalized tourism and holiday environment.

Guangrao County is located at the southern end of the young Yellow River Delta, adjacent to Linzi and Qingzhou, the ancient capital of Qi. Sunwu Lake provides a reliable water source for Sunwu Lake by excavating the original Zi River channel, supporting drinking water channels, taking the Yellow River water as the main water source, and retaining and utilizing the water from the upper reaches of Zi River. The lake area is built because of the expansion of the river, winding and blue waves, and both sides are made of brick and stone, with unique white marble landscape railings. The green area in the scenic area is more than 800,000 square meters, and the forest belt extends nearly 3 kilometers to both sides, forming a vast natural ecological landscape belt, which makes the whole lake area hidden in green and the scenery is very beautiful.
