What are the convenient and cheap special means of transportation in Chiang Mai?

Airport taxi

After picking up your luggage at Chiang Mai Airport, you will see the word taxi when you walk to the 1 exit, and someone will meet you at the door.

Taxis here don't use the meter, they are all priced according to the itinerary, 120 baht, and sometimes it will rise to 300 baht in festivals.

Remember to prepare the hotel's Yingtai address and telephone number before getting on the bus. It is best to have a phone number, and the driver can call the hotel to confirm the location.

There are few taxis in northern Thailand and many in Chiang Mai, but they also gather at the airport.

In addition to taking a taxi, there will be a double shuttle bus and a tuk-tuk bus from the airport to the urban area, with prices ranging from 100 to 150 baht.

There are also many private charter services in downtown Chiang Mai. Shuttle buses often appear near temples. You can also ask the local travel agency about the charter service. Many people can charter a car to play or go back to Chiang Mai Airport from downtown, and negotiate the price.

2. Refuse to take the bus: Most of the two cars go back and forth between the ancient city and Ningman Road. If you want to go far away, it depends on whether the driver is on the road. Or the driver will increase the price to 100 baht, because he is equivalent to sending you there on purpose.
