Cao Li, a former violinist, 1982 graduated from the mural department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and is an artist full of poet and musician temperament. Cao Li was born in Guizhou, and the myths and legends and witchcraft traditions in southwest China gave him a strange feeling, and described his personal historical situation in an expressive and surreal way. His works are usually as beautiful as fairy tales and fables, expressing not the real visual space, but the fantasy world constructed by the artist's imagination. Cao Li is very sensitive to color.
