South-Central University for Nationalities is a comprehensive general institution of higher learning directly under the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, located in the hometown of Baiyun Yellow Crane-the shore of South Lake in Wuhan. The school, formerly known as South-Central University for Nationalities, was founded in 195 1 and renamed South-Central University for Nationalities in March 2002. The school covers an area of 1.600 mu, with a modern school building area of 660,000 square meters. The campus is full of trees and flowers in four seasons.
