Mix Desert Wind Lanzhou Tour Wuwei Cangmang Liangzhou Mata Yan Fei

Wuwei is one of the four counties in Hexi in Han Dynasty, also known as Liangzhou. It is the first important town where the Silk Road entered Hexi Corridor from east to west. In the Western Han Dynasty, Zhang Qian was connected with the Western Regions, and then the county was built. In the Han Dynasty, Hexi was developed, that is, from Wuwei. In the Tang Dynasty, Wuwei and its western region developed further, with prosperous commerce and developed economy. Therefore, it has been known as "Golden Zhangye, Silver Wuwei" since ancient times.

Wuwei is also known as the "hometown of bronze galloping horses". The world-famous bronze galloping horse of Han Dynasty, also known as "stepping on the swallow", was unearthed in the autumn of 1969 in Leitai Han Tomb in the northern suburb of Wuwei City. Leitai Han Tomb is called "General Zhang Cemetery", and its owner is a general stationed in Wuwei at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The galloping steed, with its head held high, its tail cocked, its head turned slightly to the left, its three feet soared, and its left hind foot stepped on a bird, galloping forward, fully embodying the pioneering, broad and heroic spirit of the Han Dynasty. The whole shape is full of romanticism and conforms to the principle of mechanical balance, which is really a rare artistic treasure. As soon as it was unearthed, it was hailed as the pearl of world art and was identified as a tourist symbol by the tourism department of China.

Because of its strategic position and regional characteristics, Wuwei has always been attached to frontier wars and frontier poems. William Wang's "Liangzhou Ci" is generous and desolate, and Cen Can's "Night Collection of Judges in Liangzhou Pavilion" is equally heroic and tragic: the origin of the ancient poem "The horse treads on the swallow in Liangzhou";

The crescent moon climbed into Liangzhou city, city to city, and the sky was full of Liangzhou. There are 700,000 people around Liangzhou, and the conference semifinals here know how to play the pipa. The touching pipa pipa piano is very heartwarming, only feel the wind, oh, the night is long. There are many old friends in Hexi shogunate, so don't come on March 5. Seeing autumn grass in front of the flower gate building, how can you be poor and look old? You can laugh several times in life, and you must be drunk when you encounter a wine fight!

There is an octagonal pagoda in Wuwei City-Luoshi Temple Pagoda, which was built in the Tang Dynasty and has a unique style. According to legend, Kumarajiva's relics were buried in the tower.

"Kumarajiva" means child prodigy. My father is from Tianzhu (now India) and my mother is from Kuqa (now Kuqa, Xinjiang). At the age of seven, Kumarajiva became a monk. Influenced by his mother, at the age of twelve, he began to travel to various Buddhist countries in the western regions and read widely, and became famous in the western regions and the vast areas of the Central Plains. Fu Jian, the former king of Qin, advocated Buddhism. In the 23rd year of Jianyuan (383), he sent Lv Guang, a general, to the west to welcome Kumarajiva back to the East. In 386, Lv Guang returned from the Western Expedition and arrived in Liangzhou. He learned that Fu Jian was killed by Yao Chang, the late Qin Dynasty, and settled in Liangzhou (then known as Ancient Tibetan) to establish Hou Liangguo, calling himself "Jiuquan Gong". Kumarajiva therefore stayed in Wuwei for fifteen years. Kumarajiva taught in Wuwei, studied Sinology and began to translate Buddhist scriptures. Because of his profound knowledge and unique insights, he gained a great reputation. In the third year of Shi Gong (40 1), Yao Xing, the last king of Qin, wiped out Hou Liang, sent someone to welcome Kumarajiva to Chang 'an, honored him as a Buddhist teacher, and asked him to preside over the translation of Buddhist scriptures.

The Roshi Tower was originally in the temple of Roshi. During the 1927 earthquake, the temple was destroyed and the tower collapsed in half. What we are seeing now is the reconstruction of 1934. The shape of the tower is tall and handsome, which is a scene of Wuwei. When 1934 was rebuilt, a stone tablet was found under the tower, which was engraved with "Roche address, facing the street all around, respecting morality", and this was the basis for naming this tower Roche Tower. The address on this tablet should be the address of Roshi Temple. Kumarajiva stupa is located in Xi 'an Caotang, but there is no record of building another stupa in other places. It is an unfounded rumor to say that this pagoda is a stupa.

In addition, there is the tomb of Princess Honghua who was the first to marry King Tuguhun in the Tang Dynasty in the southwest of the city. Princess Honghua married Tubo in the fifteenth year of Zhenguan, which contributed to maintaining and promoting the friendly relationship between Tang and Tubo and keeping the Silk Road smooth. People miss her as much as Princess Wencheng and Wang Zhaojun.
