Dongmenyu Scenic Area of Dongshan Island in Fujian is one of the four famous islands in China. Beautiful natural scenery and numerous cultural landscapes are like "Fairy Mountains on the Sea", which are called the four famous islands in China together with Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, Jiangxinchun Island in Wenzhou and Lan Yu Island in Taiwan Province. Dongmenyu, also known as Tayu, covers an area of nearly 1 square kilometer, and is an island with an approximate "earth" shape. Located in the sea outside the east gate of Tongshan Ancient City in Dongshan Island, it is famous for its rugged rocks, mellow caves and numerous historical sites, and is listed as one of the top ten scenic spots in Fujian Province.

Dongmenyu is known as the fairy mountain on the sea. Located on the sea two kilometers away from the east gate of Tongshan ancient city, it is called Dongmenyu, and because there is Wenfeng Tower on the island, it is also called Tayu. Dongmenyu, with an area of nearly 1 km2, is an island with an approximate "earth" shape. The highest point, Wenfeng, is 9 1.3m above sea level. Dongmenyu, which combines the beauty of natural scenery and human landscape, is called the sea fairy mountain. Dongmenyu is located in Dongshan County (Island).

After the ship landed, there was a beach about 500 meters long on the left hand side of the island. The beach was very clean.

Dongmenyu is an island, and the height of the whole mountain is less than 100 meters. If you want to see more beautiful scenery, you still have to climb to the top.

Halfway up the mountain, you can see this group of scenic spots composed of big stones, and the middle one is called "the root of life"

On the lower left of the observation deck, there is a scenic spot called fisherman fishing by the sea.

Further on is an observation deck on a boulder.

The mountain road around the island is full of scenery.

In the northern section of Dongmenyu, Foao is Dongming Temple.

On the north side of Dongmenyu are two crescent-shaped beaches, both of which are relatively large.
