Article 21 of the Regulations on the Administration of Internet Service Sites stipulates that business units of Internet Service Sites shall not accept minors into their business sites. The business unit of the Internet service business premises shall hang a sign prohibiting minors from entering in a prominent position at the entrance of the business premises.
3. Can industrial sites employ minors?
Article 61 of the Law on the Protection of Minors in People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that no organization or individual may recruit minors under the age of 16 unless otherwise stipulated by the state; Places that are not suitable for minors' activities, such as commercial entertainment places, bars, internet service places, etc., may not recruit minors who have reached the age of 16; Employers and individuals who recruit minors who have reached the age of 16 shall implement the provisions of the state on types of work, working hours, labor intensity and protective measures, and shall not arrange them to engage in overweight, toxic and harmful labor or dangerous operations that endanger the physical and mental health of minors; No organization or individual may organize minors to engage in activities that endanger their physical and mental health. With the consent of the parents or other guardians of minors, if minors participate in performances, program production and other activities, the organizers of the activities shall protect the legitimate rights and interests of minors in accordance with relevant state regulations.
Article 24 of the Regulations on the Administration of Entertainment Places stipulates that entertainment places shall not employ minors.
4. Can minors participate in paid escort?
Article 14 of the Regulations on the Administration of Entertainment Places stipulates that entertainment places and their employees shall not provide or engage in escort for profit.
Can supermarkets and shops sell cigarettes and alcohol to minors?
Article 59 of the Law on the Protection of Minors in People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that cigarette, liquor and lottery sales points shall not be set up around schools and kindergartens. It is forbidden to sell cigarettes, alcohol, lottery tickets or pay lottery bonuses to minors. Operators of tobacco and alcohol lottery tickets shall set up signs in a prominent position not to sell tobacco and alcohol lottery tickets to minors.

Article 52 of the Regulations on the Administration of Entertainment Places stipulates that if an entertainment place recruits minors, the administrative department of labor and social security shall order it to make corrections, and a fine of 5,000 yuan shall be imposed for each minor recruited.
Article 31 of the Regulations on the Administration of Internet Service Sites stipulates that: if an operating unit of an Internet service site accepts minors and fails to hang a sign prohibiting minors from entering, the administrative department of culture shall give it a warning and may impose a fine of15,000 yuan; If the circumstances are serious, it shall be ordered to suspend business for rectification until the network culture business license is revoked.
