If you want to make a difference in the hotel industry, I think the best starting point is the front desk of the room service department, because at the front desk you can get in touch with all kinds of guests and directly understand the data and business of the hotel, and the staff at the front desk need to be particularly smart and have a unique vision. After a long period of training in the front desk department, you will be familiar with all the basic work of dealing with colleagues and hotels, which will be of great help to your future growth. The same is true of the housekeeping department, which is purely manual labor with less pay but less pressure than the front office work and less contact with guests. The general managers of major hotels are basically from the housekeeping department, including the housekeeping department and the front office, and some are from the catering department (this ...
