Australian National University Freshmen Pick-up Guide

Australian National University does not provide pick-up service for freshmen, so students should make their own arrangements. The following are several feasible boarding methods for your reference.

The bus service from Canberra Airport to the city center is provided by Royal Coach, but please note that buses only stop at fixed stations. Although you can't take the airport bus directly to the Australian National University (the station is still some distance from the school), if you don't have much luggage, you can choose to walk to the school, about 15 minutes.

If you carry a lot of luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi. In this way, you can go directly to school, saving the trouble of transfer and handling. Depending on the taxi company and the travel time, the cost from the airport to the school is about 30-40 Australian dollars.

There are also some hotels in Canberra that provide free airport pick-up service, and some China students and local Chinese or Chinese organizations provide paid airport pick-up service.
