In episode 27, on the day of tinker's contest, Lingyun pulled back from the brink and changed his mind. Ji Lei rushed to the platform to assassinate, and Zhan Zhao was rescued. Xiao Wenshi failed in assassination and died by Zhao Zhanhe's sword.

Plot:

The play consists of Zhu Shan, Pang, Di Qing's husband and Long Robber. It tells the legendary story of Bao Zheng, a clean official in the Northern Song Dynasty.

Lingyun's story happened in Di Qing's husband's unit. Di Qing, the envoy of the Tang Dynasty, held a military exercise to select talents to defend the frontier in order to counter the attack of the Khitan, and Bao Zheng was appointed as the accompanying examiner. Lingyun, the top martial arts scholar, is handsome, but Zhan Zhao sees that Lingyun's marksmanship has the characteristics of the Khitan samurai.

After an in-depth investigation, Bao Zheng found that Lingyun, the champion of the State of Wu, and Ji Lei, the No.2 soldier of the State of Wu, were spies of the Khitan. Moreover, Lingyun, the champion of the new martial arts, is Di Qing's prospective son-in-law, and Di Qing is in a dilemma.
