At that time, Liangshan heroes interpreted earth-shattering chivalrous stories such as "gathering mountains, building camps, resisting violence, helping the poor, and doing justice for heaven" based on the natural hazards of Shui Bo. A water margin is famous all over the world, and its heroes are world-famous. More than 800 years have passed, and the lakes around Liangshan have become cultivated land due to the sediment deposition on the "800-mile Liangshanpo" caused by the repeated breaches of the Yellow River. Moreover, over the years, Liangshan County also plans to transfer water from the Yellow River and rebuild a 10,000-mu lake to reproduce the magnificent scene of the "800-mile water margin" in the past.

The mountains are full of huge waves, and the water is connected with the distant sky ... This prevents the government from becoming an army, and there are endless dead ports. There are many forests to stop thieves. Pebbles pile up into mountains, bitter bamboo cannons are as dense as rain, water branches in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, reeds swaying ... It breaks the sorrow and anger on the brocade pavilion and kills people in front of Juyitang ... "The Shui Bo in Liangshan, which is known as 800 miles, has dried up. Shui Bo and Liantian reed have long since disappeared.

The "water-making project" in Liangshan Prefecture of Shui Bo consists of three parts: water surface project, water supply project and flood discharge project. The water surface is divided into two areas: the east and the west. The western scenic spots mainly include Liangshan Wharf, Water Army Command Tower, Liangshan Shuizhai Gate, Water Army Camp, Zhu Gui Hotel, etc., which fully shows the activities of the Water Army in the Water Margin. The scenic spots in the east waters mainly include Shi Jiecun, fishing village, Diaoyutai and Shuichengmen, etc., and water performance projects are set up to build an audience platform. After the completion of the water surface, it will fundamentally change the present situation that there are mountains and no water in Liangshan, Shui Bo, and reproduce the heroic spirit of Song Jiang and other heroes gathering in the mountains with the natural barrier of Shui Bo and the water town scenery of Liangshan Park.

In May of 20 12, professional anti-seepage technology was adopted in Shanbei water surface project, and an anti-seepage membrane was laid at the bottom of the water surface to prevent water infiltration.

The water here is not stagnant water. Yan Shuxiang introduced that the water source comes from Liangshan County Sewage Treatment Plant and belongs to reclaimed water reuse. Reclaimed water first enters the channel of the ancient canal, and then reaches here by pumping water step by step. The terrain in this area is high in the west and low in the east, and the water will flow back to the ancient canal. To this end, the project laid a 4 km long diversion pipeline and drainage open channel to realize water diversion and automatic drainage, and at the same time realized automatic circulation of water.

The water surface is divided into east and west areas. According to reports, in the next step, Liangshan County will also build some scenic spots around the water surface. The scenic spots in western waters mainly include Liangshan Wharf, Water Army Command Tower, Liangshan Shuizhai Gate and Zhu Gui Hotel. , fully demonstrated the activities of the water army in the water margin. The scenic spots in the East Waters mainly include Shuicheng Gate, where water performances are set up and audience platforms are built.
