What are the interesting places in Taiyuan?

Liuxiang is located in the center of Taiyuan, a shopping block in Taiyuan, a commercial pedestrian street in the style of "Wangfujing" and "Causeway Bay", and the most prosperous old commercial street in Taiyuan. With a commercial history of more than 300 years, it has one of the four night markets in China and the largest night market in North China, with a daily flow of more than 200,000 people.

2. Tianlong Mountain

Tianlong Mountain, formerly known as Fangshan, is 1370 meters above sea level, located at 1 1 km west of Jinci. Tianlong Temple was built in 560 (the first year of Northern Qi Dynasty), and the mountain was named after the temple. Tianlong Mountain, the first grotto art, is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shanxi Province.

Grottoes are distributed in the east and west peaks, with a total of 25 caves. There are more than 500 large and small stone buddhas, including 44 portraits, reliefs and caissons1/kloc-0. The stone is complete and the light source is sufficient, which shows the artistic masterpieces of the Eastern Wei Dynasty, the Northern Qi Dynasty, the Sui Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties for nearly three centuries and reflects the grotto art in different periods.

3. Qinglong Ancient Town

Qinglong Ancient Town is located in Houcun Township, Yangqu County, adjacent to jiancaoping district. The village is close to National Highway 208, North Tongpu Railway and Dayun Expressway, and the traffic is very convenient. The total area of the village is 2.35 million square meters, including 3,500 mu of cultivated land, 500 households and a population of 1.400.

Qinglong Ancient Town was rated as one of the top ten new scenic spots in China.

4. Yuquan Mountain Suburb Forest Park

Yuquanshan suburban forest park is located in the west of Geliaogou Village, Dongshe Street Office, Wanbailin District, Taiyuan City, and is one of the four suburban forest parks planned by Taiyuan Municipal Government.

The park covers an area of 7 120 mu. It started in June, 20 1 1, with a cumulative investment of 207 million yuan. There are 106 species of trees and flowers planted in the park, about10.4 million plants, among which cherry blossoms are the main ones. The green area is more than 5000 mu.
