Yantai, a prefecture-level city in Shandong Province, is one of the central cities in the Shandong Peninsula and an important port city in the Bohai Rim region. It is located in the northeastern part of the Shandong Peninsula, connected to Weihai to the east, Weifang and Qingdao to the west, the Yellow Sea to the south, and the Bohai Sea to the north.
