What is the story of the Beijing Opera "Lian Sheng Dian"?

Thank you for your invitation, my friend from Shihai Fisherman. I'm Xinji.

Lian Sheng Dian, also known as Lian Sheng San Ji, is a traditional Peking Opera satire. At first, Master Xiao Changhua and Mr. Cheng Jixian were good at performing this play. Later, Master Xiao Changhua rearranged and revised it to play with Master Jiang Miaoxiang, which became their masterpiece. Although the play is short, it is quite a test for singing, reading and doing things. Every move and every style is really kung fu. "Constantly going to the third class" in Beijing Opera and "Constantly going to the third class" transplanted from Gaojia Opera are two stories. I remember this play was made into an art film, starring Mr. Niu Yi, a disciple of Master Xiao Changhua, and his grandson Xiao Runde. Very wonderful. What impressed me deeply on the stage were the performances of Xiao Changhua's two grandsons, Mr. Xiao Runde and Mr. Xiao Runnian. This is a good play with singing and doing.

storyline

There is a Liansheng store in Beijing. Many candidates who go to Beijing to try live here, and Wang Mingfang, an exhausted candidate from Xuzhou, also wants to live here. When the shopkeeper came out, he saw Wang Mingfang wearing gorgeous clothes and sent him to the temple as a beggar. Wang Mingfang said that the owner reluctantly let him live in the straw house in the shop. In the evening, Wang Mingfang reads a book under the window. The shopkeeper doesn't like him reading loudly, which disturbs other guests. He told Wang Mingfang his understanding of his wealth. The shopkeeper looked down on Wang Mingfang and refused to read at night. The next day, the newspaper reporter reported that Master Wang had won the Jinshi. The shopkeeper thought that no master wang xing had gone upstairs, but he must have lived upstairs. As a result, Cui, who lives upstairs, thought he was a high school reporter who went to the newspaper office, and the owner called him Master Wang. Master Cui said that his surname was not Wang, and he poured dog blood on his head. The shopkeeper told the reporter that there was no master surnamed Wang here, so he asked him to go to another shop. The reporter reminded him to ask across the hospital. The shopkeeper remembered that there was a thorough job in the straw house, and he wanted to get rid of Wang Mingfang. He accidentally asked his last name. The shopkeeper was surprised to say that his surname was Wang. He soon became narcissistic. Seeing that he had no good clothes, he prepared new clothes and shoes for him. When Wang Mingfang met the reporter, the shopkeeper gave him a tip and prepared a good dish, but Wang Mingfang didn't have time to enjoy it. He hurried to the court for inspection. After the end of palace examination, the reporter came to report that Wang Mingfang was elected as the Jishi Shu of imperial academy, and it was not long before the official department came to Jiangnan with respect for Jinshi to preach Wang Mingfang's scholarship. Wang Mingfang, who has entered the third grade, is deeply moved. I used to look down on his shopkeeper, but now I'm so flattering.

Xiao Changhua and Jiang Miaoxiang performed the best play.
