Tibet Dream Journey (1)~~~Departure
Perhaps everyone has a dream about traveling, and in that long dream there must be a stop called Tibet! I don’t know since when, Tibet has entered my heart, making me yearn for the land there and the suffocating blue sky... Now I finally have time to realize my dream, but when When I proposed to go to Tibet with a self-driving team, I was strongly opposed by my family and friends. In particular, Mr. Huang had a big fight with me. They all said that self-driving in Tibet is both beautiful and dangerous, so I hesitated at that time. ! But in the end I decided to take on the challenge, and my husband reluctantly agreed after my persuasion...
So, early in the morning on May 18th, I boarded the command vehicle and started a 16-year journey. A one-day dream trip to Tibet
Our trip was a small team of 31 people in 10 cars. We gathered from the Zhuozhou service area at 7:30 and officially set off
Day 1: Arrival in Beijing Xi'an is 1,000 kilometers long, and the whole journey is on high-speed. After driving for about two hours, the team entered the service area for a rest, and arrived at Xi'an at 8 o'clock in the evening to check into the hotel
Xi'an's special delicacies such as gourd chicken, biangbiang noodles, and cold skin are not to be missed. Already?
No travel without delicious food, this is very suitable for me
Day two: 760 kilometers from Xi'an to Chengdu. Did I eat a little too much for breakfast? In fact, it’s much more than that
Along the way, we climbed over the Qinling Mountains, crossed 458 bridges, passed through 139 caves, walked 99 kilometers of tunnels, and traveled through many speed-limited areas. It took almost 10 hours to reach Chengdu City and check in. After the formalities, I simply washed up and went straight to Kuanzhai Alley
Kuanzhai Alley is a relatively large-scale ancient Qing Dynasty street left over in Chengdu, consisting of wide alleys, narrow alleys and well alleys
Kailu Courtyard is located at No. 11 Kuan Alley. This door is one of the most iconic doors in Kuan and Zhai Alleys. The plaque is engraved with "Kai Lu" in large seal script, and the oval pattern built above the stone plaque represents the "evil mirror" hanging high, which is intended to suppress evil spirits and ensure peace.
Walking in the Kuanzhai Alley, you will see The indigo-colored bricks and tiles on both sides of the street are full of ancient and literary atmosphere
The Shuanma Stone is located on the old wall at the head of Gate No. 32 in the narrow alley. One of the horse stones. A hundred years ago, this was the residence of the Eight Banners of Manchu and Mongolia in the north, and they had the habit of traveling on horseback. Therefore, Shuanma Stone is a symbolic expression of northern culture in western Sichuan
Walking here, I suddenly remembered a line from the Hollywood movie "Water Lotus": "I have a secret. I am so beautiful. Everyone Everyone loves me..." Haha, please don't take your seat
A song, a city, a person, a memory... Zhao Lei's song "Chengdu" has made many people fall in love with this place even more City! Do you also have your own "Chengdu" in your heart?
Walk to the end of Yulin Road
Sitting at the door of the tavern
The only thing that cannot be taken away from "Chengdu" is you...
I left the tavern reluctantly and it was already midnight when I returned to the hotel
Let’s take a look at the Tibetan entry list: 1. Medicines: Rhodiola rosea (I started taking it one week before departure, I only took it for two days), Gao Yuan An (taken when setting off from Chengdu, because we will enter high altitude areas that afternoon), Fenbit or Hashtong (to relieve the symptoms of high altitude headaches), Black and White (to treat colds and good for sleep), and oxygen tanks. Prepare two; 2. Sun protection: sunglasses and sun hat (in my experience, these two are the most practical and effective), sunscreen (I usually apply it once when I go out in the morning), and sun protection clothing are necessary. I personally think that a parasol is not necessary. , because it is often inconvenient when taking pictures when traveling; 3. Clothes and shoes: It is still mainly comfortable for sports. The best shoes are travel shoes. You can prepare two pairs of charge pants, a pair of leggings and fleece pants when it is coldest! Tops include short-sleeved T-shirts, long-sleeved jackets, three-in-one jackets, and thin down jackets, which can be increased or decreased at any time depending on the weather conditions! 4. Others: Prepare according to personal preferences, such as chocolate, chewing gum, beef jerky, fruits can be replenished at any time on the road, American ginseng tablets or lozenges, and a thermos cup are necessary (it is best to drink hot water or soak American ginseng water on the road).
So, are you quite prepared? Thinking that I will enter the Sichuan-Tibet Line tomorrow and start my dream journey to Tibet, I feel so excited!
