Can I make a claim if the hotel is dirty?

No claim can be made in this case.

In this case, consumers can ask the hotel to clean again, or change rooms, or they can directly complain or report to the local health bureau and health supervision office.

Article 39 of the "Consumer Rights and Interests Protection Law" stipulates that consumer rights disputes between consumers and operators can be resolved through the following channels:

(1) With the operator parties to negotiate and reconcile.

(2) Request mediation from a consumer association or other legally established mediation organization.

(3) Complain to relevant administrative departments.

(4) Submit to an arbitration institution for arbitration based on the arbitration agreement reached with the operator.

(5) File a lawsuit with the People’s Court.
