This old banyan tree belongs to the banyan tree. The height of trees is16.5m; With a crown of 42 meters, it is as famous as the famous camphor tree in Sheshan Village, Tai Po, ranking first in Hong Kong. This tree is at least 100 years old. As for the actual age, there are different opinions, one says 300 years, and the other says 400 years. However, some people point out that the brick-making technology of stone houses surrounded by banyan trees is only 200 years, so it is estimated that the age of banyan trees will not be too far from the date of brick-making, but it is generally recognized that banyan trees have a history of at least 150 years.
