Introduction to Jinghai Jiedu Envoy

Jinghai Jiedushi, also known as Jinghai Jiedushi, or Jinghaijun for short, was established during the Tang Dynasty to manage twelve states including Jiaozhou (today's northern Vietnam). After the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms, in the first year of Changxing of the Tang Dynasty and the third year of the Southern Han Dynasty (AD 930), in the ninth month of the lunar calendar, it was destroyed by the Southern Han Dynasty. After Yang Tingyi led his army to defeat the Southern Han Dynasty in 931, he called himself Jing Hai Jiedushi. In 939, Wu Quan, the Jiedushi envoy of Jinghai, abolished the Jiedushi position of the Southern Han Dynasty and proclaimed himself king. In Vietnamese history, he was called the former King of Wu, and his capital was Guluo (the ancient capital of Ouluo during the period of King Anyang). Vietnam ended its more than a thousand years of northern rule and has since become independent.
