Why is Chenghong Hotel in Beijing closed?
Beijing Chenghong Hotel, located at No.2 Fucheng Road, Xicheng District, Beijing, is a famous hotel. However, due to a number of violations in this hotel, the Beijing Municipal Government issued the Decision on Ordering to Correct Violations within a Time Limit in October 20110, requiring Chenghong Hotel to rectify the violations and complete the rectification within a time limit. However, Chenghong Hotel did not carry out rectification as required, which led to the Beijing Municipal Government issuing the Notice of Ordering to Stop Business for Rectification on February 3 18+08, and Chenghong Hotel stopped business for rectification.
In addition to illegal expansion, unlicensed operation and illegal occupation of public land, Chenghong Hotel also has other illegal acts, such as security risks and suspected money laundering. Therefore, the Beijing municipal government decided to suspend business for rectification, and asked it to re-apply for relevant licenses and reopen after rectification.
