Article B50 1 80-93 (revised edition) of the national mandatory standard "Code for Planning and Design of Urban Residential Areas" implemented by the Ministry of Construction on April12002 stipulates: "The living space should be based on meeting the sunshine requirements, and lighting, ventilation, fire fighting, disaster prevention, pipeline laying and visual hygiene should be considered comprehensively. Item (1) stipulates: "The frontal spacing can be controlled according to the sunshine number in different directions determined by the sunshine standard." Clause: "The horizontal spacing of houses shall meet the following requirements:

(1) for strip-shaped houses, the number of floors should not be less than 6, and the number of floors between high-rise buildings and houses should not be less than13;

(2) Visual hygiene factors should be considered between high-rise tower houses, multi-storey and middle-high-rise point houses and various multi-storey houses with windows on the side, and the spacing should be appropriately increased; In the actual implementation of the code, the floor spacing of slab buildings should not be less than twice the height of the building, and the tower should not be less than twice the height of the building. "

2. Article 44 of the Regulations on Urban Planning Management (revised on May 28, 2004) stipulates: "The distance between buildings shall be reasonably determined according to the nature and form of use, sunshine, fire protection, pipeline laying, land boundary and other factors, and in accordance with relevant regulations."

3. Articles 37-87 of China's General Principles for the Design of Civil Buildings (standards of People's Republic of China (PRC) Urban and Rural Construction and Environmental Protection Department, 1987, 1,1) stipulate: "The layout and spacing of buildings should comprehensively consider the requirements of fire prevention, sunshine, noise prevention and hygiene." The article stipulates the sunshine standard: "Every household has at least one living room, and at least half of the living rooms on each floor of the dormitory can get no less than 1 hour of full-window sunshine from winter to day".
