The designed annual production capacity is 600,000 tons, the mine field area is 13.9 102km2, and the coal reserve is 40.73 million tons. The mining depth ranges from 1330m to 1270m, and the main coal seams are 4-2, 5- 1 and 6-2 medium-thick coal seams. This process adopts single bucket truck technology for stripping and mining. The mine field is divided into three mining areas. The average length of the mine working line is1.200m, the coal extraction length is 945m, the average mining depth is 60m, and the actual production capacity reaches 1.5 million tons/year, with an average stripping ratio 12: 1. The total investment in coal mine construction is 79.99 million yuan, and the investment in safety facilities is 8.4849 million yuan. The coal mine passed the comprehensive acceptance at the end of 2009.

There are three mining and stripping teams and 1 blasting teams under the coal mine production organization, with a total of 545 employees, including 45 managers, 52 technicians of various types and 25 college and technical secondary school personnel.

After the technical transformation from underground mining to open-pit mining, the recovery rate of coal resources has been greatly improved, from less than 40% to 95%. With the increase of safety guarantee coefficient, there is no need to control the collapse of mined-out area, leaving no potential safety hazard. Labor productivity is improved, labor intensity is reduced, working environment is better, and economic benefits are better.

The pilot takes into account the interests of the state, local governments, enterprises, rural collective economic organizations and farmers, fully respects farmers' wishes, effectively protects farmers' legitimate land rights and interests, increases income and improves people's livelihood. After the implementation of the pilot, mining enterprises and rural collective economic organizations will sign mining land contracts to compensate farmers who have temporarily occupied land, which will greatly reduce the cost of land use for enterprises and shorten the approval period of land use.
