Digital Camera-Settings

1, {mode selection}-Select M file, that is, manual mode (some high-end consumer cameras have P file, that is, program priority mode, so choose P file first! At present, most digital cameras are M-files, and Canon cameras are the most. The reasons for choosing M file are: almost all the parameters of the camera can be adjusted; P file is preferred because P can use the camera's processing chip to help adjust the camera and reduce our adjustment time and procedures.

2.{ Flash}-Turn off the flash, including the red-eye prevention function! 4.{ White Balance -WB}- If daylight shooting is used, directly select daylight mode; If you shoot with light, remember to choose the custom mode-note that the custom mode is only effective after calibration (see the manual of your camera for the calibration method), and some cameras are also called evaluating white balance! For the use of custom mode, please refer to the description of the camera.

5.{ Exposure Compensation -EV }- Select a compensation value of 0, which means no compensation! Reason: When shooting baby, we can try to take good photos for free, which can save a lot of time for our post-processing, reduce the difficulty of processing, and more importantly, we can take more perfect photos.

6.{ Face Recognition and Smart Focus}-Off. Face recognition is an advanced form of smart focusing, which belongs to smart focusing! Reason: After using smart focus, the focus frame of the camera not only changes, but also is not fixed, which is not conducive to shooting the baby's outstanding point. Usually we focus on the center of the focus frame, so that the focus is very clear and the non-focus gradually fades.

Note: Some cameras say that face recognition takes face first, and there are similar names such as face tracking.

When the distance between the camera and the baby exceeds 60 cm, please use the normal mode.

Note: If the camera using these two modes can't focus normally by zooming, we can switch to another mode to try!

Note: the super macro of some cameras is called digital macro! Some cameras don't have the super macro function. In this case, you can only use macro mode.

15, {pixel selection}-Select to the maximum value! Reason: Large pixels can better represent details and facilitate the post-PS processing.

17, {Color Effect}-Close! Reason: At present, many cameras provide various color effects for users to choose, such as bright, black and white, soft and old photos, which we can't use when taking baby pictures, especially when using lights, which will cause serious color cast and cause the problem of color reproduction.

20.{ shutter button}-that is, the camera button that needs to be pressed when taking pictures. It should be noted that many cameras now support two-stage shutters, most of which are Canon cameras. Two-stage shutter, that is, the whole process of pressing the shutter button, is divided into two stages. The first stage is half pressure. In this state, the camera sets exposure parameters and completes focusing. If the focus is unsuccessful, you can directly release the half-press state, readjust the position of the zoom and focus frame, and press the shutter half-press again until the focus is completed. The second paragraph is the state of full press, the identification of gold ornaments, only the state of full press is the real photo.
