There are four main producing areas of apricot flowers in Xinjiang:

4. Tuokexun County, Turpan

The flowering period varies from place to place. Xinghua, Tuokexun County, Turpan is the earliest place in Xinjiang and the closest place to Urumqi, around March 20th. Apricot flowers are mainly distributed in the fields of Toksun, which are cash crops and have low ornamental value.

The special topography of Yili Valley makes Yili known as the south of the Great Wall. Tugenxinghuagou

Tugen Xinghuagou is the largest original wild apricot forest left over from the Middle Ages. Every April, the northern slope of Turgen is full of green, and pink stretches for more than ten kilometers. Snow-white apricot blossoms dot the mountains and ridges, which have both a continuous breath and a lonely charm. The whole apricot forest is strewn at random, without any traces of artificial pruning, and grows freely according to its own wishes. Cattle and sheep are scattered like pearls on the slope of the flower forest and grass. With the flow of sunshine, the apricot blossom ditch in Turgan presents different pictures.
