Brief introduction of actor Yu Xia's father

His father Qin Sheng, whose real name is Xia, was born in Qingdao. 1947. Painter living in Japan, actor of Qingdao Repertory Theatre, and artist.

At the age of 40, Qin Sheng was admitted to China Academy of Fine Arts, specializing in China meticulous painting. Qin Sheng has been engaged in painting and teaching in Japan for more than ten years, actively participated in Sino-Japanese cultural exchange activities, and organized many overseas Chinese to publicize Qingdao. His son is a famous young film actor Yu Xia.

Qin Sheng, a painter in Chinese mainland, ranks among the outstanding Chinese artists in the world. He can perform and sing. Combining Japanese painting art and music creation, he created his own Symphony of China National Painting and Calligraphy, which will be premiered in Tainan County Cultural Center, Taiwan Province Province in August 2009. He also expressed Su Shi's work "Fu on the Red Wall" by singing, reciting and painting, creating an alternative artistic style.

Yu Xia's acting experience:

1993, Yu Xia was selected by director Jiang Wen to play his drama Sunny Days, playing the real and brave courtyard boy Ma Xiaojun. With this role, he won the Best Actor Award at the 5 1 Venice International Film Festival, becoming the first Venetian winner in China.
