How to shoot abstract macro photography?

Macro photography can focus on important things, and as long as it is close, it can eliminate any interference. The biggest advantage of macro photography is that you can shoot anywhere, all you need is the subject.

Lines and light can highlight the theme.

In this paper, we will study how to use macro photography to take beautiful abstract photos.

1. What is abstract macro photography? On the whole, abstract photography is the representative of non-literary objects. Abstract photography pays attention to color, shape and texture, rather than showing objects realistically. Abstract macro photography takes you to a new level, makes you closer to the theme and makes the picture more abstract.

Composition is based on the same principle, which can attract the viewer's attention by using trisection, curve and straight line. The only difference is that the object should not be recognized immediately, and the center of attention should be the color or line of the flower.

2. What do I need? If you want to shoot very close objects, you need a macro lens. You can use a 50 mm main lens or even an 85 mm main lens, but the macro lens works best because it needs to be close enough to eliminate all interference on the picture. In other words, the screen can only be full of themes. This operation can be performed by using a macro lens. Most macro lenses can focus on very close objects, and the basic lens can focus on objects close enough but unable to remove the background.

A tripod is also needed, and the close-focus macro lens means that even the slightest movement will make the subject lose focus. Ideally, set the camera as a macro lens, and then set the aperture to f, as close as possible to the subject.

/8 or faster, and then switch to manual focusing to keep the subject in sharp focus.

3. What can I shoot? For abstract macro photography, organic matter is the most suitable. The so-called organic matter refers to flowers, wood, fruits, vegetables and so on. This doesn't mean that you can't take abstract macro photos of keyboards or coffee cups, but sometimes these well-known shapes are difficult to transform into abstract images. If you want to shoot an object, such as a computer or other manufactured goods, please try to shoot it from different angles or close enough so that the photo frame does not contain any obvious features. Finally, you can shoot anything you want, but first start with simple objects, and then turn to more complex objects.

4. Macro photography method Set the theme and camera, check the viewfinder, and make composition. Use these methods:

-Composition-Do you see curves, lines or colors to emphasize?

-Using manual focusing mode, even the smallest details can be clearly focused and become the focus of attention;

-Make sure that the focus is obvious, and it must be the focus, which can be a color different from the color in the picture, or a clearly recognizable line or shape;

-Check the exposure and make sure it is set correctly, even slightly overexposed the lens. In abstract macro photography, this is allowed, but the rest of the image should not be scattered.

5, the picture composition tries to shoot the same scene, but with different angles, and may even use different focuses.

Take as many different photos as possible from different angles and different focuses.

It's good to do this indoors, but you can also try it outdoors. Because the changing light will affect the subject, it may be challenging to shoot close-ups outdoors. If it is a flower or a plant, even the breeze will prevent you from dealing clearly. It is very important to try this type of photography, which promotes creative thinking and different observation of surrounding objects.
