Remember a road, watch an cartoon, watch a movie and so on. This is image memory. The third is dictation. The ancients also said that a good brain is better than a bad writing.
What do you remember? In fact, it is the process of outputting recorded content. Sometimes you need to write it silently, and sometimes you need to dictate it. A person's memory is good, in fact, the test standard is the quantity and accuracy of his output.
We find that people with a particularly good memory have a very strong memory. These clear pictures are actually what we call clear imagination in the teaching process.
Researchers have found that people with good memories have a very strong ability to imagine clearly. The clearer the imagination, the deeper the memory. Therefore, in memory training, the early stage is to train a clear imagination. Both the complementary color card and the mandala card are used in teaching to activate the clear imagination of the forehead. This ability is usually very obvious before we are 8 years old, and it will become more and more degraded as we grow older. Therefore, many whole-brain training companies will control the age of students at 6- 18. Of course, some well-trained adults can do it.
Let's talk about children first! Many children can do camera memory. The principle is that the child's forehead, which is what we call a brain screen, has a clear imagination. In other words, what you see visually is more profound than hearing. For example, you hear a beautiful text describing spring or you watch a video of spring flowers, which is more powerful? Of course it's a picture. Except those who are born with good hearing. We will naturally be more impressed by what we see.
When children are young, that is, when they are 6 to 8 years old, their imagination is very good. Imagine a watermelon, that is, a watermelon that can be eaten with your hands, and imagine a furry puppy, which is also very appropriate. Children's imagination is close to a clear imagination, that is, "seeing".
For adults, our imagination is not so clear. Imagine a blue elephant and a red rose in front of your eyes. We can probably imagine it, but these are vague imaginations. When will adults experience a clear imagination? In fact, many times, we have all experienced it, that is, in our dreams. When we had a very clear dream, we recalled it in the morning as if we had experienced it. We clearly remember all kinds of pictures, smells, sounds, colors and even our emotional feelings in our dreams. This feeling is similar to a clear imagination.
For children, how can we have the ability to "never forget"? Nothing can be done in a cluster, it is all learned and trained. This kind of training is an exercise of imagination. When we begin to train our imagination for a period of time, we will find that we can easily convert the words we see directly into images. Children's seeing is equivalent to imagining a huge screen after closing their eyes, and projecting memory materials onto this clear imaginary screen after watching it. So you can see the "camera memory" shown by many children.
It is difficult for adults to have clear imagination training. Image memory method is usually used more. But we can use the ability of "never forgetting anything". According to the actual teaching experience, adults, including many memory masters, usually use the image memory of the right brain. This method can effectively carry out accurate memory. Of course, memory will also be carried out, but memory is still "image memory", association method, staking method, palace method, digital encryption method and so on. And they are still "watching videos" and then translating them into written language. If you use the method of "photographic memory", it is the process of deliberately finding and establishing a "brain screen". What do you mean? When we remember information through image memory, we close our eyes and type words on our imaginary virtual screen, just like computer typing. The key to "unforgettable" is that you have memorized the information, and you only need to be precise about the information when you recall it, where, what size, what color and what characters. When we get used to "never forgetting anything", we will find that we can also see words and project them directly on the "brain screen" like children.
