How to clean the inside of shells

If you collect live shells, you must kill them quickly.

Take the meat out of the shell.

Boil it with low heat until it boils,

Then take out the shellfish while it is hot with needles, tweezers, knives, scalpels and metal toothpicks.

If it is a bivalve, you can remove the shellfish meat and scrape off the adductor muscle when you open it.

Another method is to put live shellfish into plastic bags and put them in the refrigerator for freezing;

Take it out after a day or two, take out the remaining shellfish with tweezers after thawing, and rinse it clean.

Wipe thoroughly with toilet paper or cotton swab to ensure that the shell is completely dry.
