Why does the digital camera have a black screen?

First, the reason for the failure:

1, setting questions

Most digital cameras have two viewfinders, one is a display screen (lcd), and the other is an electronic viewfinder or an optical viewfinder. For ordinary users, the display screen is definitely the most commonly used, and there will be a button on the camera body to control the switching between lcd and evf.

If it is controlled by the "disp" key, press once to hide the display parameters on the display screen, press twice to continue the display, but the view is all black, and press three times to fully display the display screen. At this time, only evf can be used for framing. In fact, as long as you press the switch button a few more times, you can resume normal lcd framing.

2, the main circuit board failure

The phenomenon of black screen caused by partial failure of motherboard occurs relatively more on newer models, and ordinary users can't detect it by themselves. In addition to the above possibilities, the only thing left is the motherboard problem.

3. The sensor is damaged

The damage of sensor (ccd) elements leads to black screen or variegated color, which leads to black screen or flower screen phenomenon.

Second, the solution:

1. Check whether the digital camera is turned on and observe whether there is an indicator light in the digital camera when the power switch is pressed.

2. Check whether the lens of the digital camera pops up. If the lens does not pop up automatically, please check the lens mechanism failure. When checking the failure of the lens mechanism, check whether any parts in the lens are damaged. Whether there is dust or dirt in the lens assembly. Whether the gears and other mechanical parts in the lens assembly are damaged, and repair the damaged parts.

3. Take photos, and then check whether there are photos in the memory card. If there are photos, the LCD screen of the digital camera is faulty, and the others are normal. If the digital camera can't take photos, it may be the black screen caused by the failure of CCD/CMOS image sensor.

4. Check whether the power supply of CCD/CMOS sensor is normal. If the power supply is abnormal, repair the CCD/CMOS power supply circuit. If the power supply of CCD/CMOS sensor is normal, then use oscilloscope to detect whether the driving signal and output signal of CCD/CMOS sensor are normal.

Extended data:

Troubleshooting of common faults of digital cameras;

Fault phenomenon: the camera can't shoot, but can only display.

If the camera can't take pictures, it can only display data, probably because the display screen is switched to the viewfinder. At this time, just press the triangle symbol to switch.

If you are new to the camera and are not familiar with the use skills of the camera, you can familiarize yourself with the operation mode of the camera first. If the viewfinder at the top of the camera is used for framing, that is, the visual empty framing at the top of the screen, the camera will not be able to shoot but can only display. However, if you use screen view, you need to set the camera to "live view mode" so that the camera can display pictures.

In normal mode, you can't see the image on the camera screen, and you can only see the scenery through the viewfinder. But if you want to see the image on the screen, you can operate the live view button on the left side of the display, which is the triangle sign next to the camera. You can also adjust to these modes, such as P/Tv/Av/A-DEP, and then press SET while shooting.
