How to make it look good and delicious? These "6 tricks" make you dominate your circle of friends and become a food blogger!
1, light
Looking for a soft light source
All photographers are inseparable from the experience of three words: "There must be light!" Shooting food is no exception. For beginners, try to sit near natural light or bright places. Generally speaking, a sunny breakfast is the easiest to shoot perfectly. At lunch time, direct sunlight will be very uncomfortable. If you eat outdoors, you should choose a seat under the sun or a seat near the window indoors (preferably with thin curtains) to create enough soft light sources that are not direct.
When shooting by the window, you should pay attention to the projection of window frames, plants or other furnishings in the sun, and don't let messy shadows affect the shooting of dishes, otherwise it will easily make the picture look chaotic. In that kind of restaurant without natural light, the color of the photo is easily deformed. This is because incandescent lamps or fluorescent lamps will affect the color balance of photos, so remember to adjust the white balance of the camera. You can use the white paper at hand as a calibration tool to adjust the color of the paper towel in the viewfinder to the nearest white.
The most difficult light to shoot is undoubtedly the candlelight dinner. The layman's effect on dinner should not be too perfect They can try to improve ISO or shorten the shooting distance, and perhaps get relatively satisfactory results. Mind you, don't use the built-in flash when your brain is hot! Otherwise, you will get a horrible photo of thieves everywhere.
Step 2 write a composition
Diagonal golden rule
Composition is a relatively advanced course, which requires certain aesthetic and photographic skills. You can cut off some side dishes you don't like, and you can combine several favorite dishes to give full play to the artistic cells of eating goods!
Diagonal composition is the best method. If you take a long board, put it diagonally along the diagonal of the picture, which can prolong the line of sight; If it is round tableware, two or more plates or props can be built diagonally to achieve aesthetic balance. This method is especially suitable for two people. Two dishes are the same as tableware, and other shooting methods are ugly, and diagonal shooting is smart at once.
Step 3 shoot nearby
News photography often says: "Not good enough is not close enough." This standard also applies to food photography. If you can't find the right angle, or the picture is too messy, you may wish to enlarge the part of the dish and focus on the details. Thick sauces, shiny meat and the green color of fresh vegetables can all present delicious visual effects.
4. The background is blurred
Background blur is also a way to make photos stand high, but it requires a large aperture of the camera (many apps can also repair the blur effect later). If you really want to accommodate more information, use a shallow depth of field to blur the background and highlight the food itself.
5. Three angles
Shooting a disc is nothing more than three angles: flat shooting, upward shooting and 45-degree oblique shooting.
Overhead shooting is the most fashionable method at present, which can be seen everywhere in ins and literary magazines. If you can't find a good angle, you won't make a big mistake when you shoot down, especially for dishes with interesting shapes and rich ingredients. It looks like a painting, very artistic.
Flat shooting, also called side shooting, is shooting horizontally from the front of food. The advantage is that poor light is not easy to leave a shadow on the screen. But plane shooting is only suitable for western food with more vertical levels, such as hamburgers, sandwiches and cakes. The Chinese food lying on the plate can hardly see any bright spots.

The oblique shot at 45℃ is not only the killing angle of beauty, but also the angle that can best reflect the three-dimensional sense when shooting food. Can take into account the front and side of food, record more comprehensive information, and enrich the picture.
6, the function of the whiteboard
Do you always envy such a clean and fresh picture as the above picture, and worry that your dining table is always so messy? Look at the picture below, and the truth will come out! It turns out that the photographer used whiteboard props.
Besides creating a clean background, the whiteboard can also adjust the light. Putting the whiteboard next to the dishes can reflect sunlight, create backlight or side backlight, and better reflect the texture of food. If you want to take a good photo, share it ~ you are the best gourmet!
