Jiangmen is an important node city in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a new growth pole on the west bank of the Pearl River and the gateway to the coastal economic belt. The city has a land area of 9,535 square kilometers, a sea area of 4,880.47 square kilometers and a permanent population of 4.8 million.
