How to install curve on Nikon D90

There are generally four types of Nikon curves, with the suffixes being ntc, ncv, ncp, and nop.

D90 can directly read the ncp curve, and models above D300 can read the nop curve. Downloading ncp curves to the camera is very simple. Just put the curve files such as PICCON01.NCP, PICCON02.NCP... in the NIKON\CUSTOMPC directory in the SD card, then open the camera menu and enter the "shooting menu" - >"Manage Picture Controls"->"Load/Save"->"Copy to Camera", and then the names of each curve in the SD card will appear. Black-faced portraits are generally "WINGMAN-VIVID", and dark-faced landscapes are generally "WINGMAN-VIVID" "Bluesky", then select the required curve, press ok, and save it to the 9 reserved positions for custom curves C1-C9.

You can use it after that, but be careful to turn off D-Lighting, otherwise the effect will be affected.

ntc and ncv require ViewNX, NX2 or camera control pro (CCP) to load. For ViewNX and NX2, you can call up the Picture Control Utility and select "New" in the lower right corner -> enter a name. ->"Use custom curve"->"Load"->"Overwrite", then export to SD card. The next operation is the same as NCP. Using CCP, you can directly load the curve into the camera. After connecting CCP and D90, click "Image Processing"->press "Edit" to enter the setting page, select "User-defined Curve", and click "Edit" to see Go to the preset curves and templates, press "Load" to select the curve, press "OK

" to return to the setting page, press "Save a new custom image control" to name the new curve That's it.
