Equipment preparation

Although the current wedding organization forms are similar, as photographers, we should clearly know the whole wedding process, including the morning itinerary and the afternoon arrangement, so as to know fairly well and lay a good foundation for equipment preparation.

First, the choice of digital camera: SLR digital camera is the best choice. If you choose a SLR digital camera, you can configure a standard zoom lens. (For example, 18-55 mm) It would be better to have a wide-angle lens, because the wedding scene is relatively large, and it is easy for a digital camera with wide-angle function to shoot a big scene.

Second, the battery: The most important thing for wedding shooting is not to miss important scenes, so it is very important to ensure the power. If it is a digital camera with Ni-MH battery and alkaline battery, prepare several sets of battery packs. Flash battery 1-2. Because flashlights consume the most electricity.

Third, other accessories: it is best to configure a digital camera companion to assist shooting, so you don't have to worry about the storage capacity of shooting. Of course, you should also fully charge your digital camera partner before going out. In addition, wedding photography also needs tripod assistance, mainly in a fixed position when the wedding is held. I will think of it when I take a group photo.

Matters needing attention when shooting:

1. Pay attention to the white balance when shooting indoors, even when shooting RAW. The color of the face is the most difficult to serve. When you adjust later, you will find it awkward to adjust it. It is recommended to calibrate with grey card at first.

2. It is not recommended to use high ISO, otherwise dry spots will be found when the film is released, especially some underexposed photos. Personally, I think Canon can accept the highest ISO400, while Nikon's ISO400 is relatively reluctant.

3. According to the light situation on site, F6 ISO 100, 3-8,1100-1/200 can be considered, and then TTL flashes, and the lights will jump when the light is good, and soft light will be added when it is not enough, and then directly.

The most important thing is to keep those beautiful moments. Follow-up is not creation, but recording. At some critical moments, we can consider continuous shooting. For example, couples taking photos with relatives and friends can consider taking 2-3 photos in a row, which makes it easier to find photos with good expressions.

5. Pay attention to grab the position and follow the beat. You can't keep the guests waiting for you, or just cooperate with you for a pat. You should seize the favorable terrain in advance and make sure to seize every wonderful moment.

6. Generally, some photos should be taken at the bride's house. Take photos of the bride first. Usually the bride will ask her classmates or colleagues to be bridesmaids. Before the bride puts on the white gauze dress, these people may help her arrange her headdress or make up. These lenses are also good. Maybe you will meet a mother who cries with joy, or a bride who cries with joy. These are also the objects we can't miss. Put on the bride's white gauze dress. If you have time, you can also use the decorations of the bride's house, such as windows, mirrors, curtains, bars, calendars, table lamps, flower pots, or oil paintings, and take some bust photos with the bride alone. Take a photo of the bride alone, then take a family photo, or take a photo with your parents or siblings alone. When the groom marries the bride, there are also many processes, such as the couple going out and saying goodbye to their parents. In this process, you must be quick and don't miss any shot. Before arriving at the man's home, the photographer must arrive earlier than the float, choose the first car if necessary, and get off the bus after arriving. When the man's family comes to ask the bride to get off the limousine, the photographer will start taking pictures. After the ceremony, take the time to eat. When the bride and groom start toasting, you have nothing to eat. Ha ha.

7. Composition is the biggest difficulty, the station is limited, and there is no time to change the lens. So try to put the main characters in the middle and use zoom to deal with irrelevant people outside the camera.

8. When taking group photos, you'd better use a tripod. If there is no tripod, when using the flash, let the guests stand in an arc and try to ensure that everyone is at the same distance from the lens, because the exposure of the flash is completely related to the distance.
