Analyze the value embodied in the works of the World Photojournalism Competition (57th-58th).

This work combines technology and emotion, instead of choosing the common thin and unhealthy image of refugees, it pays attention to the emotional needs of African refugees and appeals to all sectors of society to solve the refugee problem in a more humane way, treating them equally as people with normal emotional needs and full of humanistic care.

Judging from these two works, it is easy to produce excellent works by paying attention to contemporary social problems. The 58th annual photo shows the living conditions of gay couples. Most films only have a little light shooting angle, suggesting that life is getting harder and harder with the introduction of Russian anti-gay law. For them, the narrow living environment does not face up to their emotional and physical needs as a person. Perhaps the promulgation of the law is a comprehensive consideration, but it always hurts the survival interests of these people. Photographers use their exquisite composition and contrast of light and shadow to show the neglected and excluded side of social minorities such as homosexuals and transgender people, show their emotional repression and inner pain, and call on the society to pay more attention to and tolerate these minorities, which is also full of inclusive humanistic care.

In line with the current epidemic caused by eating wild animals, this group of pictures that pay more attention to crocodile farming is also quite eye-catching. Compared with killing wild animals, farming sounds much more reasonable, but the cruelty to animals themselves is unbearable.
