Standard dimensions of track and field runways

Chapter 237 Indoor game hall

1. The sports ground should be fully enclosed indoors and provide qualified lighting, heating and ventilation equipment for the competition.

2. The venue should include an oval runway, a straight track for sprinting and hurdles, a run-up runway and a landing area for jumping events. In addition, a permanent or temporary throwing ring and a fan-shaped falling area should be provided for the shot put.

3. All runways, approach roads or take-off areas should be covered with synthetic materials or installed with wooden surfaces. It is more suitable to use nail shoes with nail length of 6 mm for laying synthetic materials. The stadium administrator should inform the athletes of the allowable spike length of any runway cover thickness used in the stadium (see rule 139 4).

4. Technically, the elasticity of each run-up lane should be as consistent as possible. Before each competition, the take-off area must be checked (see rules 27 1 3, 272 3, 273 2, 274 2).

Article 239 Clothing, shoes and sizes

1. Except for the following contents, the provisions of Article 139 of these Rules on competition clothes, shoes and numbers are applicable indoors.

2. When the competition is held on the track paved with synthetic materials, the part of each spike protruding from the shoe palm or heel shall not exceed 6mm (or meet the requirements of the Organizing Committee), and the maximum diameter of spike shall be 4mm.

Article 248 World Indoor Records

1. Except for the following clauses, all provisions of the rule 148 are applicable to the world indoor records.

2. Indoor records must be created in an indoor stadium that meets the requirements of Article 237.

For track events of 200 meters and above, the circumference of the oval track shall not exceed 220 yards.

Linear runway 257

1. The maximum inclination of the straight line in the left-right direction shall not exceed 1: 100, and in any position in the driving direction shall not exceed 1: 250, and the maximum inclination of the whole length shall not exceed 1: 1000.

alley

2. The straight road has at least 6 lanes and at most 8 lanes. The driveway is white and 5 cm wide. The width of each lane should be the same, including the right lane, with a minimum width of 1.22m and a maximum width of1.25m. ..

Start and end

3. The starting point and ending point of the competition should be marked with a 5 cm wide white line. The distance of the race should be measured from the back edge of the starting line to the back edge of the finish line.

4. In order to help the terminal camera aim at the finish line, so as to interpret the terminal photographic film, the intersection of the lane separation line and the finish line should be painted black in an appropriate style.

5. At least 3 meters behind the starting line and at least 10 meters before the finish line, any obstacles should be removed, so that athletes have enough space to stop without being hurt.

Article 258 the oval runway and lane separation.

1. The perimeter of the standard runway should be 200m. It should be composed of two parallel horizontal straight lines and two bends with the same radius, and the bends can be inclined. The inner edge of the runway can be made of suitable materials, 5 cm high and 5 cm wide, or marked with a white line with a width of 5 cm. Take the protruding edge or the outer edge of the white line as the inner edge of the first lane. The inner edge of the white line or flange shall be kept on the same horizontal plane at all positions of the runway, with a maximum inclination of 1: 1000.

alley

There should be at least 4 lanes and at most 6 lanes on a curve. The width of each branch should be the same, and the minimum lane width should be 0.90 meters. The maximum is 1. 10 meter, and the lane width includes the right lane. Each branch should be separated by a 5 cm wide white line.

3. The running direction should be counterclockwise. The lane should be numbered with the first lane on the left.

Slope runway

4. If the curve is inclined, it is suggested that the maximum inclination should not exceed 18 degrees. On any ramp cross section, the inclination angles of all lanes should be the same.

In order to make the change from the horizontal straight to the inclined curve more gentle, a transition section with relatively gentle vertical change can be built, and the transition section can extend up to 5 meters before entering the straight.

bend

5. For the 200m runway, it is suggested that the radius of the inner edge of the curve should not be less than 1 1m, but not more than 21m.. If possible, the bending radius should be at least 13m. The length of the bending radius can be varied.

Bend mark

6. If the white line is used as the inner edge of the runway, a cone or flag should be placed at the place marked by the white line. The cone is at least 20 cm high. The flag is about 25× 20cm in size and at least 45cm in height, and forms an angle of 120 degrees with the runway. When placing a cone or flag, its outer side should coincide with the outer edge of the runway white line. On bends, the spacing between signs or cones shall not exceed 65,438+05 meters, and on straights shall not exceed 65,438+00 meters.

Measurement of elliptical runway

7. The length of the first lane should be measured from 30cm away from the outer edge of the inner protruding edge, and when the white line is used as the inner edge, it should be measured from 20cm away from the outer edge of the white line.

The length of other lanes should be measured from the outer edge of the left lane 20 cm.

Article 259 The starting and ending marks on the runway.

1. Detailed technical information about the structure and construction of the indoor 200m slope runway is specified in the IAAF track and field facilities manual. The following are the basic principles that should be adopted.

basic requirement

2. The starting line and the finishing line on the straight line should be marked with a white line with a width of 5 cm and at right angles to the lane separation line. The start line and finish line on the curve should be marked along the radius of the curve. The distance of the race should be measured from the back edge of the starting line to the back edge of the finish line.

3. The requirements for the finish line are as follows: If possible, all runways at different distances should be as straight as possible before reaching the finish line.

4 In order to use the terminal camera device, the intersection of the lane separation line and the terminal line, that is, the two white lines * * *, covers 5 cm square and is marked in black.

The basic requirement of straight line, trapezoid and arc starting line is that every athlete should run the same distance when running along the shortest allowed route.

6. The starting line (and relay area) should not be located in the steepest curve and the steepest slope.

The progress of the game

For events of 7.400 meters and below, each person should have a swimming lane when starting. Events of 200 meters and below should run in a separate lane from beginning to end. For events over 200 meters and under 800 meters, you should start in different lanes and complete the second corner in different lanes. In the 800-meter race, each athlete can start separately according to the designated lane, or at the same time in groups. It is best to use the second lane and the third lane when starting in groups.

For events over 800 meters, the arc starting line should be used to start in different lanes or in groups at the same time.

Note 1: In competitions other than those stipulated in the rules 12, 1(a), (b) and (c), the participating members can reach an agreement that there is no swimming lane in the 800-meter race.

Note 2: When the runway is less than six lanes, six athletes can be organized to start in groups at the same time according to the rules 16 1 and 12.

The start and end of the 200-meter standard runway.

8. The starting line of the first lane should be on the main straight. When determining its position, the trapezoidal starting line of the outermost lane (400 m/800 m race, see paragraph 10 below) should be at the position where the height of the ramp does not exceed 80 cm, or at the position where it does not exceed half of the maximum height of the ramp at the top of the curve, whichever is higher.

The finish line of all track events on the elliptical runway should be the extension of the starting line of 1 lane dividing line, which intersects the runway vertically and forms a 90-degree angle with the lane dividing line.

Trapezoidal starting line for 200-meter running

1 After the positions of the starting line and the finishing line of lane separation are determined, the starting line positions of other lanes shall be measured backwards along each lane from the finishing line. When measuring the runway length, the measurement method of each lane shall be the same as that of the first lane (see Rule 258.7).

After the position of the starting line is determined, the starting line should intersect the measuring line 20 cm inside and outside the runway, and then extend to intersect the lane vertically. If the starting line is on a straight section of the runway, it should be at right angles to the lane separation line. If the starting line is on a curve, its extension line should be able to pass through the center of the curve. For example, in the transition section of an elbow (see Rule 258.4), the extension line should pass through the theoretical center of the elbow. The starting line is 5 cm wide and marked on the side of the measuring point near the finish line.

Trapezoidal starting line for 200-800 meters running

10. When athletes are allowed to grab the lane after running through one or two corners, two factors should be considered when setting the starting line position: one is the same starting stretch as the 200m race (see Rule 259, 5), and the other is to add the difference of each athlete's cut in the lane.

Only when athletes are allowed to leave their respective lanes and draw lanes to grab the line can the starting line be adjusted as mentioned above. This paragraph explains how far the starting line should move forward. But because the starting line is 5 cm wide, you can't draw two different starting lines unless there is a distance of more than 7 cm between the two starting lines and a clearance of 2 cm wide is allowed. When this problem occurs, the solution is to use the last starting line. 1 Lane separation does not cause problems because

In order to follow the definition, there is no need to adjust because of grabbing the lane line. The problem occurs in lanes near the inside (such as the second and third lanes). The outer lanes (lanes 5 and 6) do not have the above problems, because the cut-in difference is more than 7 cm, and two clear starting lines can be drawn.

The two starting lines can be effectively separated in the outer lane. After drawing the line grab, you can get the distance that needs to be adjusted. According to this distance, you can measure the position of the second starting line before the 1 starting line, and then draw the second starting line according to the drawing method of the 200-meter starting line.

The position of the starting line of the outer lane determines the positions of the starting lines and finishing lines of other lanes on the runway. In order to avoid causing serious disadvantages to athletes from outside the runway when starting on a steep slope, all the starting and finishing lines should be moved backward enough from the first corner to limit the gradient of athletes passing through the slope to an acceptable level. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the starting line position of the lanes 400 meters and 800 meters away, then measure the starting lines of other sub-lanes, and finally determine the finish line. Note: In order to help athletes identify lane snatching, a small cone or prism (5× 5cm) can be placed at the junction of each lane separation line and lane snatching line. These marks are as long as 15cm, and the color is the same as the lane grab.
