Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology is the only full-time general institution of higher learning in China named after clothing, which focuses on arts and crafts, with the coordinated development of arts, engineering, economy and management.

All the above majors require candidates to have basic skills in fine arts and take part in the national fine arts college entrance examination or the school's separate fine arts examination. You can't be admitted to the school until your art exam and college entrance examination scores in cultural subjects reach the admission score of the school.
