In little women, you will meet the March sisters, Meg, Joe, Beth and Mary. During the Civil War, Amy lived with their mother mamie and the maid Hannah. The first half of the novel takes place while their father is out serving. Every sister has a distinct personality, a reader, an artist, a musician and the quiet one. You will learn about this family in the touching stories of their daily life. Every chapter seems to give the reader a moral lesson. We also met a group of great neighbors, Mr. Lawrence and his nephew "Laurie", and they soon found a member of the March family.

The second half of the novel focuses on the journey of girls leaving childhood and entering adult life. When we experience the ups and downs, prosperity and adversity in life with the characters, the courses of friendship, family and love are also covered. Louisa may alcott seems to base Little Women's story on her own family, and build the role of Joe on her own. Surprisingly, although this book was written in the late period of 1800, many things about human beings remain unchanged. Friendship, family and friendship are important life foundations. As alcott shared with us, love will not change with time. This is a book for all ages.
