Introduction of Daisaku Ikeda
Daisaku Ikeda (1928 65438+ 10-2), a native of Tokyo, Japan, is the president of the International Sōka Gakkai, the honorary president of Sōka Gakkai, Japan, and a famous religious scholar, writer and photographer. He is the President of Sōka Gakkai (1960-1979). Ikeda and Sōka Gakkai are committed to promoting culture, education and peace. They won the United Nations Peace Prize with 1983, the Humanitarian Prize with 1989 and the Einstein Peace Prize with 1999. The domestic awards include: Chinese Art Contribution Award (1959), Sino-Japanese Friendship Messenger of Peace (1990), People's Friendship Messenger (1992) and Chinese Cultural Exchange Contribution Award (1997).
