Specification for Photographic Competition Works
1. Most photo competitions require that the file size of the work be between 2MB and 20MB. For some works that need to be printed, a larger file size may be needed.
2. Photo contests usually require the resolution of the works to be 300dpi (dots per inch) or higher. This is to ensure that the clarity of the printed works is high enough.
3. Most photo competitions require the works to be in JPEG format. This is a common image format, which can balance the file size and image quality well.
4. For the works used in web pages or social media, the photo contest may require the aspect ratio of the works to be 1: 1, 16:9 or 4:3.
Most photo contests have a limit on the number of works submitted by each contestant, generally between 5- 10.
6. Most photo competitions will have a clear theme or theme scope. Participants are required to create and submit their works according to the theme or the scope of the theme.
