The origin of the place name of Hailuogou After the completion of Luding Bridge, King Jiebufa of the Tang Dynasty took Hailuogou over the western slope of Xueshan to build a temple and tower. In Hailuogou, I spent the night under a glacier boulder cave in an alpine forest. Read Buddhist scriptures in front of the cave in the morning and evening, and bow down to Gongga Mountain. When I played the conch, all the birds and animals in the forest gathered around the cave to listen to him chanting. After King Jeb of the Tang Dynasty left, birds and animals still gathered around the cave according to the time when the king blew the conch, and a tree grew on the top of the cave, surrounded by flowers and plants.

One day, King Jebfa of the Tang Dynasty had a dream for his disciples, saying that he lived in a huge rock in a cave in Hailuogou, and had been named "Conch Lingshi" by the gods of Gongga Mountain. The deep valley he trekked through was named "Hailuogou" with his precious conch. Hailuogou and conch lingshi are named after this. After Hailuogou was developed into a tourist attraction, it attracted countless tourists to worship the mysterious conch lingshi.
