Documentary restrepo! ! ! ! !

Restrepo, which won the jury documentary award at Sundance Film Festival, was written by the author of The Perfect Storm, journalist sebastian junger and photographer Tim Hetherington. Since 2008, they have followed a platoon of the US military for a whole year, recording their tasks and lives in Afghanistan. The title "restrepo" is the name of one of their fallen comrades, and they named their whistle as a souvenir.

The film records the experience of a group of American soldiers in the field platoon in the Krungar Valley of Afghanistan. The film focuses on a post with 15 people, named after a soldier restrepo who died in battle. This post is considered to be one of the most dangerous jobs in the US military. In this experienced film, the camera never leaves the valley, and there are no interviews with generals or diplomats. You will experience the explosion, fierce fighting and brotherhood in the film with the camera.
